The only place to stay in Sianoukville

When arriving at the Novotel Sianoukville, I immediately knew I made the right choice. Its unique architecture is mixing modern and traditional style, a true jewel compared to the immediate surroundings. The impression was confirmed within the open and luminous lobby elegantly designed with wooden material. The best Singaporean standards are met with a real French touch of Art de Vivre! Classy and confortable design in the room where you ll drink your expresso in the German century old brand Villeroy&Bosch cups... What else? For the white sandy beach lovers like me, no efforts... The novotel stands on it... And the swimming pool is a great place to chill out till late. About Sianoukville: it is yet the place for long, white sand beaches. However, I have to say that the cambodgian spirit and the sianouk's heritage have vanished, surrendered faced to hords of fast money makers who have totally spoiled the waterfront with ugly 20+ storey buildings from another age. Dozens are left abandoned unfinished like phantomatic skeletons all over the town. Hopefully, the Novotel is standing proudly, lo'e a fresh oasis, in front of those dinosaurs' buildings that noone want to see built anymore. NOVOTEL SIANOUKVILLE is definitely a forward looking, human-size, lovely designed hotel, in an elegant and sustainable settings! Last notes: -do not miss the breakfast... For the food and the panoramic bay view... Gorgeous! -have a drink at the 1srt floor bar... You'll not regret it
