Our butler Rakesh Ray was in continuous touch from the day of booking and looked at all the arrangements with utmost care and professionalism. Except being far from the city center, rest all things like the welcome, the rooms, food, cultural events are top notch. Kudos to the housekeeping staff for the arrangements in the room for our special day .

So the stay and everything was amazing, like really amazing. The hotel was really amazing. We really had great fun at the hotel. There was a person name niyati at the front office. She was really really good. She helped us a lot in everything like she gave us a room upgrade. She also prepared a cake for us as it was our anniversary and she also gave us a pool access to raffles so she was really amazing. I would recommend everybody if you go to the fairmont Jaipur ask for Niyati and she will be really helpful. Also, I had two concerns like the food was not that great because I ordered some noodles and they were a little bit oily. Although the chef came in offered that we can get this changed also offered us a brownie and a pastry to compensate and another concern was that they didn't provide any sort of complimentary decor as it was our anniversary so they only gave option of paid packages. although the stay was amazing, the hamam was really amazing. The evening event. Shama e khaas was really really nice so although everything was really good only these two concerns and that are compensated by a lot of things. So thank you so much, Fairmont jaipur

Beautiful property with a palace-like ambience and a lovely room, but the food and dining experience were extremely disappointing. Cold food, a poor buffet selection, refusal to accommodate a simple request for ginger tea, and mushroom served despite repeated instructions, followed by finding hair in the food. For a stay costing nearly ₹30,000, this was nowhere close to the experience expected from Fairmont. The property looks luxurious, but the overall experience fell well short of expectations.

We had a wonderful stay, especially thanks to our butler, Tasdiq. He was absolutely amazing! He was always there when we needed him, but very discreet. Fairmont Jaipur is, without question, a regal and palatial property. It’s beautifully maintained, the interiors are stunning, and the rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and fitted with every amenity you’d hope for. The views are gorgeous. On paper, and in its physical experience, it’s everything a luxury property should be.
Our stay, however, got off to a genuinely disappointing start. This was our first Fairmont stay and we were celebrating my partner’s birthday — something I’d shared in advance, along with a room request, after the welcome team proactively reached out to ask. Despite that, our arrival was cold and impersonal. While other guests arriving at the same time were welcomed with flowers, music, and ceremony, no one received our luggage, guided us in, or so much as offered us a glass of water. It was hard not to notice we were being treated differently, and for a brand that prides itself on warmth and personalisation, it stung.
What turned things around was the team’s response once I raised it. Mr. Ramanan, the front desk manager, reached out and met me in person. He listened carefully, apologised sincerely for the email being overlooked, and assured me the rest of our stay would be different — and he kept that promise. We were moved to a better room with the view we’d requested, and from then on we were looked after genuinely well.
Special mention to Madhav from the front desk, who was assigned to us for the rest of our stay. He was attentive without being intrusive — checking in regularly, helping with dining reservations, transport, and our plans, and making sure every need was met. He even arranged a thoughtful departure gift for the birthday. Kudos to him; he’s a real credit to the team.
The food deserves its own praise — it was out of this world. We ordered room service multiple times and had a wonderful lunch at Raffles, and every meal was genuinely excellent.
My honest feedback: first impressions matter, and Fairmont needs to work on service consistency. Having stayed at the Leela, Taj, and similar properties, the warmth of service here didn’t yet come close — the Leela in particular sets a bar Fairmont hasn’t matched. At times the property felt geared towards corporate events and weddings, with regular guests feeling like an afterthought. I’d genuinely urge them not to let the focus on events come at the cost of everyday guests, who deserve the same care.
All said, a beautiful property with real potential and some wonderful people. With more consistent, warmer service from the very first moment, it could absolutely live up to the hype.
