The Fairmont Beijing has become the monthly meeting place for the international mining community in China. In October we had a significant gathering that included a guest speaker followed by a cocktail party. From the room set-up, to the catering and the smooth operation, it was terrific. The Hotel has become our Beijing base and we'll keep coming back each month. I travel up to Beijing from Shanghai and stay at the Hotel. The room and the service are all first class. there's a welcome back on arrival and the service is always with a smile.

This was my first stay at the Fairmont Beijing. As a regular visitor to Beijing, I’m already looking forward to my next stay at the Fairmont. There is a guest-care attitude throughout. My room was terrific and the housekeeper was courteous and friendly while being unobtrusive. I also held a meeting on the third floor; the meeting room was a treat and the attendants ensured that all went very smoothly. It was an all round first class experience.

We spent 3 nights at Fairmont Beijing and we couldn't find enough words to describe what a wonderful and awesome stay it was. We were personally fetched by the hotel limo representative from the arrival hall as we exited the plane and traveled in style in a comfortable Mercedes Benz to the hotel. Check in was very efficient and we were taken to our wonderful Gold Family Suite. The room more than met our expectations in every way. We were given extra bottled water whenever we requested it. Breakfast was great with a good spread in the Gold lounge. Staff were very pleasant and helpful in the Gold Lounge, especially Dominic, and the lovely young ladies whose names I cannot remember(I apologise). The concierge was the highlight. Apple arranged our airport transfers which was super efficient. She is a dynamic and amazing women and even furnished us with 2 x face masks on out trip back. Leesin from concierge was the star. A friendly and very pleasant young man, he shared invaluable tips on tours, shopping and restaurants. He made a booking for us to have Peking duck at the 1941 Restaurant which was an outstanding experience in itself. Nothing was too bothersome for him. He is a great asset to Fairmont Beijing. The subway stop Yonganli is about 100m down the road from the hotel and being Line 1, it connects with many major attractions just a few stops away e.g. Forbidden City, Wangfujing shopping area, etc. The Silk Market is 10 min walk down the street where you can pick up good bargains .....but you must bargain with them. The subway line Yonganli connects with the Silk Market and souvenirs are much cheaper here than on the Great Wall. An ornament that costs 750 RMB at the Great Wall sells at 50 RMB in the tunnel that joins Yonganli and the Silk Market. There is nothing to complain about this hotel, 5 star treatment from a 5 star hotel. I will gladly recommend this hotel to all friends and family.

the room was spacious and aminities was perfect. nothing to complain seriously. the personnel were well trained. I was staying in different 5 star hotels in Beijing but Fairmont was exceptional by all means. the only drawback was the three elevators which sometimes forced me to wait a while , apart from this there was no other problem. one more advice. stay in GOLD floor and enjoy executive services

We enjoyed our stay so much my wife and me at Fairmont Beijing hotel. Honestly, everything was perfect, a warm, wide, clean and amazing room, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel location is just perfect, it's in the middle of everything and so close to the subway station. The breakfast too was so delicious with tons of choices. But what is really noticeable about Fairmont Beijing is how friendly, nice and professional the staff are, they are really wonderful with a nice smile on each and single one of them, and they are all doing their best to let you feel welcomed and enjoy your stay at the hotel. Special thanks to Journey, Diana and all the Gold floor team who are the best we have ever seen. Warm gratitude to Apple and all the concierge team who didn't save an effort to facilitate our stay. I strongly recommend staying in Fairmont Beijing and I advise all my friends, colleagues and everyone who is visiting Beijing to stay there. And I'm definitely coming back.

Surprised with Fairmont gold suite my first time in Beijing although I have been an accor member for over 10 years. Very nice, roomy upgrade for what I paid, thanks. I enjoyed dinner at cuts but not the 2 meals at the Chinese restaurant (not good buffet and Chinese dishes). In whole the property is well maintained and presented.
