Very poor service and maintenance

- upon check in, first they wanted to put me in a side building, and could not understand i want to stay in the main building to have access to e.g. restaurant and gym - i arrived at 20:30, restaurant was already closed (should close at midnight) - gym was closed (should close at 22:00) - same next day; in the afternoon no staff in the restaurant at al - airconditioning in the room was smelly, clearly not clean - pool was closed - general service level seems to be decreasing This was definitely my last stay in this hotel.

Not particularly clean ie bathroom floor was fithy under cabinets, not able to comment on staff, bar area was poor We ate at a adjacent restaurant (DiYaLi) recommended by our guide and it was good value and a pelasant meal although our service was slow There was no milk for the in room tea/coffee, but there is the helpful shop over the road

Such an amazing experience!

The hotel was real nice and cozy, it wasn’t that far from the Jiu long shan subway. We could easily walk from the hotel. Hotel people were really friendly and fluent in English. You can ask for any kind of help at the lobby. The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was also good. There are shops for daily necessities right opposite to the hotel(might be difficult to locate,as they only have a door and you have to get in, there’s no windows of the shops).

A mini break in Beijing

HotelLover2009 Families - TripAdvisor review

We stayed here for three nights as a mini break. The little apartment was cut and the beds were comfy. There were a few things broken but they eventually repaired them. The pool was cold as was the air temperature. Our kids could only swim for a few minutes before they turned blue. Otherwise it was a perfectly acceptable place to stay near to some Beijing sites.

Good comfortable hotel.

A little careworn around the edges this is nevertheless a good comfortable hotel. It's not completely central but has good transport links by road ( watch out for rush hour ) and the metro. It's also close to local shops - a convenience store right across the street - and local restaurants. Good sized rooms with a novelty glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom - make of that what you will! As is common in Chinese tourist hotels, there's a good mix of Chinese and western style items for breakfast and the buffet is served in a spacious breakfast room. Rooms had complimentary tea, coffee and water. The water is particularly useful for brushing teeth, etc as we were warned not to drink the tap water at all in China.
