We booked a single king suite bay view with a BATHTUB. My wife requires a bathtub she gets bad migraine headaches. When we checked in they said they had put us in a two bedroom which we didn’t require I asked if there was a bathtub and they said yes, once we got to the room we noticed there was two bathrooms. Neither bathroom had a bathtub which was required. I then went back to the front desk and got nothing but attitude and said there was nothing they could do. My wife then was wrapped up in a duvet on the couch for 24 hours and trying to sit on the shower floor and soak with steam. This was one of our worst experiences ever in a hotel. I went back to the front desk and asked if they could do anything!!! And the gentleman said he would talk to his manager and get back to me immediately I never heard from him again I am not a difficult person and rarely complain. All I wanted was the room. I had booked online three weeks previously and paid for in full.

This wasn’t our first stay and won’t be our last. We love the location and Jean keeps it lively with his spot on recommendations. The staff is attentive and friendly but never crossing a line.

This is too expensive for mere facilities. Not much to do. just big enough rooms . even water was chargeable . there are payment issues which is still not resolved.

Great overall experience. Disappointed that the fireplace in the room didn’t work during our stay. We were told three times that someone would come look at it. Later in the evening when we wanted to use the fireplace to enhance the experience we were told the individual that would look at it the next day, we were checking out the next day. The microwave would work when we got back to the room in the late evening. Overall nice place, friendly staff, I just wish the room accommodations were all working for the price we paid.

Location was great, clean, safe and walking distance to many attractions. It was more affordable to have a two bedroom, instead of renting multiple hotel rooms for our large party. Having access to the outside terrace areas with the fire pits was a great gathering place. The owners lounge was also a great space to gather for board games. I can not praise the staff enough. Always helpful, always polite and honestly, the staff pushed the experience beyond a five star experience. Our arrival was late one evening, and we were still greeted with a luggage cart and a staff member who was eager to help us into our room. This is our go to place for San Fransisco, from now on!

Everything was amazing- our room on the Mustard Terrace was SPECTACULAR!! We love waking up to the fresh cool ocean breeze. Staff was also amazing! We love coming home to see Tito and Aziz. They are so welcoming and friendly- they make you feel like family.

This was likely worst fairmont i've ever visited. The entire property was very tired and felt like a 3-star hotel at best. There was no food on site and the area sufficiently dangerous where they kept the door locked. It felt like a ghost town. We left a night early after voicing our issues. THe front desk clerk said a manager would be in touch but we heard nothing which tracked with our overall experience.
