The front desk person was unprofessional and was more interested in up selling then looking for guest comfort , I had to constantly remind him that I am travelling with little baby and I have requested for early check in on which he looked very disappointed but finally after an hour honoured the request as I had requested it in advance. The room had nothing working properly , the dishwasher was broken and I had to clean bottles with hand and none of the housekeeping could fix it. The cloth dryer hardly worked and the engineer accepted this is mediocre equipment , he got the dishwasher working but it stopped working next day. One of the room window blinds were not working properly. I used some of the bathroom amenities and next day housekeeping didn't bother restocking it. I have stayed in 5 star all over the world but this was the worst experience ever.

Fairmont at Ghiradelli has to be one of the best hotels in San Francisco. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are first class with a lot of amenities not found in regular hotel rooms. The shared spaces and happy hour festivities are also top notch. To round it all out, the location is iconic with amazing views of the Bay as well as easy access to all that Fisherman's Wharf has to offer. I think everyone needs to stay at this hotel once, and they will understand why this is a quintessential San Francisco hotel!
