Biggest complaint was that it was so hot in the hotel room at night that it was hard to sleep.

Our hotel uses a fan coil system for heating and cooling, which operates based on the outside temperature. This system is designed to be energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. The hotel has some strong points, but we did not appreciate the experience. The main disappointment was linked to the heating/cooling system. The weather when e stayed was nice, with nice temperatures during the day (23-24), but still cool nights. Our room was extremely warm and the cooling system did not work. When we informed the reception, we were told this was a technical problem as the system was still put on heating and had not been transferred to cooling yet. Still, the system in our room did not work at all, as we could not even ventilate. This was repeatedly reported upon but was never followed by an action to resolve the problem. This means we were confronted to both a technical issue and a service issue which is quite shocking for a Novotel. There were other minor problems, like the phone in the room not working, or nobody answering when you call from the parking entrance, or the restaurant closed for lunch. The good points are: the location, the parking and the charging stations (public) in the parking, the interior design of the ground floor (lobby and restaurant-bar). The breakfast was up to standard.

over all good and friendly service. But a few points what could have more attention at the breakfast buffy the fresh fruit looked a bit old, 2 days in a row the 3 ketchup Botels where empty when I asked if I could have a fried egg, No eggs available to my surprise I noticed someone ells got 1 served? only a few small things easy to address.

It was nice that staff reckognized me, both reception as well as staff in the restaurant. Alas, this time, there was no welcoming note. It was unfortunate that the menu was very limited. That being said, what I did eat was delicously prepared.
