We looped around the hotel several times trying to find the parking so a map or email describing how to find it would have been useful. Tried to use the bar but no staff present.

Dear Mr. R., Thank you for your comment. Your comments regarding parking leave us somewhat confused, as the entrance to our own spacious, bright, and convenient underground car park is located 10 meters next to the Novotel main entrance. We will discuss this with our restaurant and bar staff, as someone should always be present in the restaurant or bar from 6 p.m. onwards, although it is of course possible that staff may need to pop into the kitchen briefly to collect food orders. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. In the same building as our two hotels (only 600 meters from the start of the historic old town) houses one of the most expensive rental apartment complexes in the city, and in immediate vicinity there are kindergartens, a school, and many offices and law firms housed in historic buildings, so we do not consider our neighborhood to be particularly problematic. But we understand, of course, that such feelings can vary greatly when it comes to German cities. Nevertheless, we would be delighted to welcome you as our guest again. The room was very comfortable and cosy. Only downside: no desk in my twin room.
