I am coming almost every month to Regensburg & staying in your facility. To my surprise last month suddenly came to know that cleaning will happen in every 3 days time. that is also no prior intimation. How can you be compromise on hygiene activity. No one is able to answer this & staff also is not okay with it but not supposed to say as Management decision. If this is the case i will never plan to stay in your facility. Even my colleague also stop coming to your hotel, beause of this reason only.

Every day, we and our staff work enthusiastically to ensure that our guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant stay in line with the globally recognized Novotel STANDARD. We are, of course, deeply sorry that you are so dissatisfied with the changes regarding room cleaning. In fact, this year—like almost all of our direct competitors in Regensburg over the past few years and months — have switched to the 3-day cleaning cycle you described. This decision was not an easy one for us to make, nor was it primarily driven by sustainability considerations or initiatives from Accor or us as hotel operators; rather, it was unfortunately necessary because, as a hotel business, we could no longer fully pass on the sharply increased personnel, energy, and other costs to our guests. However, we can assure you that the hygiene of the rooms will not be compromised by this new cleaning cycle, and the rooms will always be brought to a spotless condition upon the arrival of new guests. As described in the guest information, we are still happy to bring towels, toilet paper, and all other amenities to your room upon request, and coffee, tea, and all other items are available for quick pickup at the front desk. Under certain circumstances, we would also be willing to arrange an individual cleaning cycle for you and your SGB Smit colleagues. The first step would be as follows: Booking the negotiated SGB Smit corporate rate Membership in the Accor All program Booking only through Accor’s own booking channels instead of through third-party providers offering the lowest daily rate. We would be happy to discuss the details with you during your next visit. We would, of course, regret it if you no longer wish to be our valued guest under these circumstances, but we would still hope that you find a hotel partner for your visits to Regensburg that offers you the same high level of service AND daily cleaning. We had a great stay in the Novotel. The hotel is modern, comfortable and clean. It’s in a good location about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The staff were very professional and friendly.

It was a very nice overnight stay. The room was comfortable. We felt welcome and handwritten note in a room was such a nice surprise and pleasure. Bed was very comfortable. For us it was an overnight stay with a walk to the city center.

I find the new policy of cleaning rooms every three days to be unreasonable. Personally, I prefer having my room cleaned every two days, which is what I typically request when staying at hotels. Daily cleaning is unnecessary for me, but waiting three days between cleanings feels excessive. Additionally, despite leaving the "clean the room" sign on my door on the second day, my room was not cleaned. This is disappointing and not what I would expect from a four-star hotel. I believe the cleaning schedule should be reconsidered to better meet guests’ expectations and needs.
