I spent one night with my family at the Novotel Regensburg and had a nice stay. I booked a classic room, which was big enough, and had a nice bathroom. I appreciated the complimentary water and the kettle with coffee and tea, but I was quite surprised that there were no slippers. The breakfast offered a very good choice of local food, which I appreciated very much. The service was efficient and the breakfast room was not busy. On the other side, I was expecting more from the restaurant, whose menu was very limited and quite basic. The food was average and a bit overpriced. All in all the experience with Novotel Regensburg was positive.

Every day, we and our staff work enthusiastically to ensure that our guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant stay in line with the globally recognized Novotel STANDARD. Unfortunately, it seems that we have not fully succeeded in this. As stated in the electronic service guide in your room, slippers are available on request from our housekeeping department. We are sorry that you were not fully satisfied by our Gold & Brown restaurant and its menu. All our international dishes are freshly prepared and priced in line with German standards. Ultimately, however, there is a wide selection of local restaurants offering regional and international cuisine within a 15-minute walk of the hotel for your next stay. I stayed in a Superior Business room. It was clean, well maintained, well equipped and fairly priced. It was my second stay in that type of room. It will not be my last.

Check in/out very fast. Staff very friendly and customer focused. Rooms in very good conditions, house keeping personal are doing a great job 👏! Car parking for a reasonable price. Breakfast quality and variety perfect….. friendly service ! As an Accor diamond member I got more than I expected! I’ll definitely come back 👍👍👍

We looped around the hotel several times trying to find the parking so a map or email describing how to find it would have been useful. Tried to use the bar but no staff present.

Your comments regarding parking leave us somewhat confused, as the entrance to our own spacious, bright, and convenient underground car park is located 10 meters next to the Novotel main entrance. We will discuss this with our restaurant and bar staff, as someone should always be present in the restaurant or bar from 6 p.m. onwards, although it is of course possible that staff may need to pop into the kitchen briefly to collect food orders. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. In the same building as our two hotels (only 600 meters from the start of the historic old town) houses one of the most expensive rental apartment complexes in the city, and in immediate vicinity there are kindergartens, a school, and many offices and law firms housed in historic buildings, so we do not consider our neighborhood to be particularly problematic. But we understand, of course, that such feelings can vary greatly when it comes to German cities. Nevertheless, we would be delighted to welcome you as our guest again.
