Stayed for 5 nights at IBIS Regensburg City at Furtmayr Strasse - Hotel is located conveniently next to the HBF and a large shopping mall and bus stops. This is good - Room was functional and Cosy (though it can be bigger with a dedicated work desk and bedside tables preferably with a pull out drawer) - More charging points should be provided at accessible places - Breakfast has adequate but limited choices. There is no egg station so we cannot request for custom made omelets or eggs to order

Very cold reception by the staff. I asked for rooms next to each other and they offered rooms that were almost at the opposite end of the corridor. I was expecting higher floor rooms because of my status, but got first floor rooms. They only offer the most basic amenities of all Ibis hotels I’ve stayed in. We had one big towel each and one hand towel for both. Not even a towel to step one after showering.

Gerade ein freundlicher und aufmerksamer Empfang ist für uns ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Gastfreundschaft. Ihren Eindruck nehmen wir daher sehr ernst und werden ihn mit unserem Team entsprechend besprechen. Auch bedauern wir, dass wir Ihrem Wunsch nach nebeneinanderliegenden Zimmern nicht gerecht werden konnten. Solche Wünsche berücksichtigen wir selbstverständlich nach Möglichkeit, können sie aufgrund der jeweiligen Belegung jedoch nicht immer vollständig erfüllen. Dass die Ihnen angebotenen Zimmer dennoch nahezu am entgegengesetzten Ende des Flures lagen, entspricht nicht der Lösung, die wir uns für Sie gewünscht hätten. Bezüglich Ihres Wunsches nach Zimmern in einer höheren Etage möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass wir entsprechende Wünsche – auch im Zusammenhang mit dem jeweiligen ALL-Mitgliedsstatus – gerne berücksichtigen, diese jedoch grundsätzlich von der Verfügbarkeit am Anreisetag abhängig sind. Wir bedauern, dass wir Ihren Wunsch bei diesem Aufenthalt nicht erfüllen konnten. Ihre Hinweise zur Handtuchausstattung können wir ebenfalls nachvollziehen. Unser ibis-Konzept sieht aus ökologischen Gründen grundsätzlich eine bewusst reduzierte Textilausstattung vor. **Selbstverständlich gehört jedoch ein Badvorleger zur vorgesehenen Badezimmerausstattung.** Zusätzliche Hand- oder Duschtücher erhalten unsere Gäste jederzeit gerne kostenfrei an der Rezeption. Dass die Ausstattung bei Ihrem Aufenthalt nicht vollständig bzw. nicht in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden war, bedauern wir ausdrücklich. Wir bedauern zudem, dass Sie unser Haus im Vergleich zu anderen ibis-Hotels als besonders einfach ausgestattet empfunden haben.
