I spend one night with my young daughter at this hotel. The room is functional and very clean, the underground parking is perfect. The reception staff is nice but lacks common sense and spirit of initiative, I was in disbelief, maybe some training is needed in this area, I left with a bitter taste in my mouth.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Ibis Regensburg Zentrum. Every day, we and our staff work hard to ensure that our guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant stay at the globally renowned IBIS STANDARD hotel that you have chosen to book. We regret that this does not seem to have been entirely successful in your case. In fact, for licensing reasons, we at the ibis Regensburg Zentrum are not permitted or able to serve breakfast to guests who are not staying at the hotel. This has nothing to do with a lack of initiative or common sense on the part of our staff, but is simply due to LEGAL REASONS !!! However, ibis guests and their joining non-residents can enjoy the breakfast buffet at the Novotel, located in the same building, for an additional fee, which is what our staff offered you. We regret that you apparently did not want to take advantage of this offer and also that these circumstances had such a negative impact on your otherwise successful stay that it only resulted in an overall rating of 3 stars.
