Comfortable Stay, Good Facilities but Lacking Service Recognition I stayed at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara for two nights. Overall, the stay was fine. The room was spacious and comfortable, which I appreciated. The hotel facilities are the main reason I chose to stay here, and they did meet my expectations. However, the service felt lacking, and there was no recognition throughout my stay, which was a bit disappointing. While everything functioned well, the experience could have been improved with more attentive and personalized service. That said, the hotel is suitable if you are looking for a large room and good facilities, but there is definitely room for improvement in service and guest engagement.

Our 4 day stay at the Sofitel Damansara was amazing. From the time we checked in till the time we left, everything was beyond our expectations. The reception & concierge staff were professional & welcoming. The executive club floor with associated executive lounge amenities were so well supported by excellent service provided by Vino, Ekbar, Mundi & Anishma. The massage in the spa provided by Emilia was the best I have experienced & the facial provided by Jul was superb. The room was luxurious & clean; the room stewards are to be congratulated for their service. Restaurant on site provided much variety. Highly recommend staying there.

I’ve always enjoyed staying at Sofitel KL. The check in was fast and efficient. Just that I’ve got one question- whenever I come to Sofitel KL, I’m usually greeted by this awesome, beautiful scent the moment I stepped into the lobby. It was just so inviting and that’s when I know- we’re here in Sofitel. Somehow this time, I wasn’t greeted with that scent. I mean, there wasn’t any nice scent in the air either. Was just wondering if the management decided to not use scent in the lobby area. Please bring it back. It’s almost like the hotel identity for me.
