Had an amazing time at Sofitel. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly! Big thank you to Eddy & Jennifer for the assistance during dinner and to Jerome Zuzartee & Ekbar for the wonderful hospitality and making us feel really welcome and comfortable during our entire stay. Will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel. We were able to check in earlier and check out later and received a nice room upgrade, which was much appreciated. We were very impressed by the available food in the lounge and it has been one of the better lounges we have seen in Accor hotels. The service (kudos to Hafiz, Arif, Lalith, Vamsi and Fuad) was really great as well. I do think that the drinks on offer could be a bit expanded (Jim Bean/Jack Daniels would be nice) but we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the lounge on both evenings. We were also impressed by the breakfast, with plenty of Asian and Western offerings and great service as well. Room cleaning (kudos to Kajav?) was properly done too. Only slight comment is that we did not receive room amenities, but since we had access to the lounge, this was not an issue. As said, we really enjoyed our stay and having stayed only two nights, we wished we had another one or two nights to enjoy the Sofitel here. When back in KL, this will be my hotel of choice.

Hot Water in Shower

Unfortunately, my overall experience was clouded by the fact that when I turned the shower all the way to hot it would not get past room temperature or a mild tepid water so I had to take less than ideal showers. The sink in my room would get Hot water but not the shower. I notified the front desk when I checked out that they should have an engineer look at the room and see what the issue was.
