Comfortable Stay, Good Facilities but Lacking Service Recognition I stayed at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara for two nights. Overall, the stay was fine. The room was spacious and comfortable, which I appreciated. The hotel facilities are the main reason I chose to stay here, and they did meet my expectations. However, the service felt lacking, and there was no recognition throughout my stay, which was a bit disappointing. While everything functioned well, the experience could have been improved with more attentive and personalized service. That said, the hotel is suitable if you are looking for a large room and good facilities, but there is definitely room for improvement in service and guest engagement.

I’ve always enjoyed staying at Sofitel KL. The check in was fast and efficient. Just that I’ve got one question- whenever I come to Sofitel KL, I’m usually greeted by this awesome, beautiful scent the moment I stepped into the lobby. It was just so inviting and that’s when I know- we’re here in Sofitel. Somehow this time, I wasn’t greeted with that scent. I mean, there wasn’t any nice scent in the air either. Was just wondering if the management decided to not use scent in the lobby area. Please bring it back. It’s almost like the hotel identity for me.

I booked the 3 night stay to celebrate my wife's birthday in the area. While the hotel room and facilities itself was ok, i found the service to be average only. Other hotels, mind you even hotels that are less premium that Sofitel, puts in the effort to make celebrations like this special - from the surprise room upgrades or even the smalleat gesture of leaving a birthday card in the room. On this occassion, we just felt like a 'customer' and not a 'guest'. My wife who checked in (as i was only able to come later), also felt the first impression wasnt great as she was attended to by Mark who seemed confused and transactional. Quite disappointed by our first stay and experience at Sofitel.

Love the stay as the room is big, clean and comfortable. Although there wasn't much shopping at DCM, there was a nice Hainan Cafe that serves good breakfast qith nice kopi. The buffet breakfast in the hotel was good with reasonable spread of variety. The only thing i didn't like was the narrow entrance and exit of the carpark. And there is no complimentary parking. Had to pay a flat rate of RM10 for each exit.
