We arrived late and we were lucky to have someone from the staff in the reception area or we wouldn't have been able to check in. There was no parking available. The room was extremely cold and it never really got warm by the time we checked out. I paid for breakfast separately and was asked multiple times by the restaurant staff to pay again so the communication between reception and the restaurant is very bad. The front desk staff was somewhat helpful but would not make eye contact, making me feel like I'm a nuisance rather than a paying guest. Overall, you're paying for the location and, if you're not Austrian or German, you won't be treated with respect.

Unfortunately, despite an express request, the early check-in did not work at all (but was then also not charged - thanks). We had a suite which was not very clean (specifcially the windows had not been cleaned in a long time) and several items were simply completely worn down (namely all rugs; some floor tiles, the window handles) or covered with scratches (such as e.g. the wall behind the desk). Not the standard I am used for this price.

As good as Mercury could be. Clean hotel. Located 10 mins walk from West Railway station, and ~30 minutes from the city center. Breakfast - with hot options, but nothing exciting. Bed - is not very comfortable. Breakfast without a good choice of non-German channels.

I've stayed in Hotel Mercure every time I've been in Wien during the last seven years. I have absolutely NO reason to change ! Always happy to come back.

Great situation 10mn from subway and train station and 4 subway stations from city center. Rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. Staff is very helpfull and nice. Only drawback is the parking that can not be easily accessed with long cars (Model 3 for instance). A fallback solution is provided as you can park in the Ibis parking only 5mn away on foot from the Mercure, but the Price is 25 Euros per day instead od 20 Euros ...
