Two uninvited guests in my room

Checked in and went to my room to find 2 young lads in my room. When challenged they scuttled away. Went to reception to find out what was going on and they said they knew 2 boys were wandering around the hotel. They were not going to take any action. I suggested they call the police as the lads had accessed my room. They didn't seem to know what to do. I'm not aware of the police were ever called. Will definitely never stay here again.

Easy to park, lovely warm room and easy to get checked in. Plus I ran an event in one of the meeting rooms all day the next day so all in all a very pleasant stay!

We’ve stayed here many times before but this time we had to ask reception to clean under the beds as previous occupants had stuffed a load of rubbish under the divan bed. We only knew when our dog pulled out bits of rubbish!!! Also found that the bar food service was poor. We reserved a booth & found someone else there when we arrived. We were told it was waitress service but no staff appeared & we ordered at the bar. I had to return to order 3 times as they repeatedly didn’t have what I tried to order when they could have informed earlier what they didn’t have on the menu- not coming back!
