I appreciated the room upgrade, and also being able to book, at a good price, the Novotel weeks earlier (although the adjacent IBIS is fine for its price point) Restaurant (Pretty Boy) food and service is great, and I appreciated the brand new wine list. Further, the ground floor cafe (not part of Accor) is convenient and cost effective. Also appreciated room delivery of my delayed checked bag that did not make the Qantas flight connection at Sydney (from Brisbane, thence Melbourne) - even though the same plane and crew! (I assume all bags are off loaded, even though mine was ticketed to Melbourne.)

I was delightfully surprised when an early check in request was honoured. The room was spacious and perfect for what I need. Breakfast was hearty, and the option to order omelettes was well appreciated.The only thing that would have made the stay perfect would have been the promised amenity on arrival was delivered, as it was a special occasion stay.
