Beautiful hotel with an amazing room that instantly feels luxe and comfortable. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Location is a big win too. Right by the bus stop and just steps away from a strip of cool cocktail bars, so everything is easy and fun. Overall, a fantastic stay and I’d absolutely recommend Sofitel Adelaide without hesitation.

Our overall experience was average (5/10). The location is very good and the property has great bones, but it lacks finesse and attention to detail. With some improvements and better finishing touches, it could be a much better experience.

We really enjoyed our stay and were allocated a nice room, although we think the layout could be better with lots of wasted space, Sofitel Sydney corner rooms have a much better layout. Check in by Jay was super-efficient and the afternoon tea on day 1 in the lounge was very good. The other 2 days we went, it wasn't so good. Disappointingly even though we had pre-submitted dietary requirements, staff in the lounge were unaware of them. On night 2 when we approached them, they quickly organised food that was suitable and on day 3 we were immediately asked what we would like. Unfortunately, on night 4 the food was not suitable, and no such offer made. Cooked to order breakfast in the lounge on weekends is a nice touch but the food was served cold, yes cold poached eggs! The temperature of the food in the restaurant was much better but the environment not as relaxing. On the Friday it took over 10 minutes to get a table, not because they were all full but because there was only 1 person greeting and then showing guests to tables. Although they may seem like small things, they are possibly enough that we might try a different hotel next time we visit Adelaide.
