We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The only downside was the service in the Club Millesime, it was very poor. At peak time in the evening 6.00 - 7.00pm the lounge was badly understaffed. Accordingly guests had to queue for drinks, food ran out, glassses ran out - it ws a shambles. On one evening a number of other guests just walked out! Also, on the same evening a whole glass of champagne was spilled on my wife. There was no offer of dry cleaning her clothes, she was just given a tea towel to dry herself off. Also, while the quality of the breakfast food was good the service was too slow and I missed out on my order (which was placed 30 mins earlier) as I had to start my meetings for the day. So, overall a very nice hotel let down by poor experiences (on each of the 3 nights of our stay) at the lounge.

We had a fabulous stay at the Sofitel. It was a last minute booking due to a change in travel plans, and we could not fault it. All the staff were lovely, the room was beautiful and the hotel gives off a real feeling of luxury, at a great price. We will definitely be back next time we are in Adelaide.

Lovely hotel

I always love staying at the Sofitel The staff are wonderful esp Raif the concierge, Kasey in the lounge and John who does turndown. This visit was split by the breakfast service in the except lounge. They took 40 mins to serve me coffee, messed up my breakfast order and when it did arrive it was cold.
