Visited the hotel for a family trip. The rooms are good and the lifts are fast. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The same breakfast is served daily with very limited vegetarian options. There was a welcome drink, but it had to be claimed by visiting their café, and there was no sugar-free drink option. The hotel should consider improving breakfast variety, especially for families staying for 4–5 nights.

Our room - a prestige suite, was excellent and comfortable. Some minor issues - several of the curtains were missing curtain hooks and we did not have an electric jug. The hotel facilities are not that of a normal Sofitel and probably comparable to a Novotel brand. The restaurant was very small as was the coffee shop / bar. Club Millesime was a real disappointment. We did not get value for money from the club. It is only open for breakfast on the weekend - two days. And when it was open it ran out of food and could not keep up with demand (food supply). The club staff actually recommended we go to the main restaurant. When we went to the main restaurant, the queues were huge for breakfast, - often spending up to 20 minutes in the queue. Similarly with the afternoon and every activity, the club was not able to keep up with demand. It may have been the busy Christmas period but that is not an excuse for a 5-star hotel. Overall, a most disappointing experience that does not compare with other Sofitel hotels and the value for the extra expenditure to gain Club Millesime access was not justified. We did not get value for either the extra expenditure or our Diamond ALL status.

If it wasn't consider a 5-star luxury hotel then perhaps it would have been ok. But considering it is a 5 star hotel the cleanliness of our room and the hotel facilities were disappointing. Broken tiles in the shower and missing tiles in the pool.

1/ only one sized slippers are available but they are too small for an Asian with EU size 43 2/ Toothbrushes and toothpaste were not available until I made the request… I don’t mind to reuse the toothbrush throughout my stay but the toothpaste was only enough for 1-2 times… And the hotel can only provide new set of toothpaste plus toothbrush…. 3/ The housekeeping quality was below average.. the housekeeper has not cleared the paper scarps on the floor… 4/ location of hotel is excellent
