We only stayed at Sofitel Adelaide for two nights, but it was enough to understand the excellence in hospitality. Both the room and the facilities provide a very warm and modern atmosphere. The hosts genuinely care about the well-being of their guests, especially Gogo at the breakfast restaurant and Anneloes, who went out of her way to make us feel at home. Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay.

We have stayed at the property previously and had a great stay and decided to return on our first family holiday with our baby while visiting family. Overall we loved the hotel, the rooms, facilities and location. Though there was some issues we encountered this stay, which tainted our experience: 1. On arrival when valet parking, we unloaded our own car onto the trolley 2. Food and beverage - Our newborn baby has a dairy allergy and my partner can't consume dairy while breastfeeding. On two occasions, we had issues when eating in the hotel. Ordering room service we ordered the fries and when they arrived they had cheese on top. When we called they first told us it was 'Truffle Powder' and then we had to push for them to ask the chefs and get a call back which it was actually parmasen cheese and then told us if we got new fries we had to pay a tray charge plus for the chips. When we were at buffet breakfast my partner approached a chef on the buffet and asked about the yoghurts if it was coconut or only dairy yoghurts - they told her just to 'try them'. No assistance or willingness to look into it or ask someone else who may know. 3. When we were checking out we asked for a trolley to be bought up because we had a lot of bags, they showed up with no trolley and saw the amount of bags and had to go back to collect one. 4. Our keys were keept by concierge when we checked out, we asked for our car to be bought up and my partner had her key so opened it as no one was around when it was bought to the driveway. We were then never given the keys and we realised hours later that they hadnt returned them to us. No apology when we called and we had to come back to collect.
