Everything was good, but quite disappointing with the front desk during check in. We visited as family with kids and already requested for nearby room prior to our arrival (through email few weeks in advance). However, we were being assigned to diff rooms in diff levels upon check-in. Front desk manager (Lena黄) was not able to communicate clearly on the room arrangement, and seems refuse to communicate further then arrange another person to entertain us halfway the checkin process. We appreciate for some room upgrades, but we have to downgrade some other rooms so that we can stay next to our kids. Overall it is disatifying with the check in process and pre-arrangement by the Pullman hotel.

Located away from the crowded downtown area of Suzhou, yet still close to shopping malls, this hotel offers very competitive pricing. However, the body lotion in the room was not refilled during my stay. The Executive Lounge has a nice location and pleasant atmosphere. However, the happy hour could be improved — the wine tasted like it had been opened for quite some time, and the selection of hot food was rather limited.

the overall experience did not fully meet the expectations associated with the Pullman brand and Accor Platinum membership recognition. First, during check-in, the front desk staff provided only very limited information. Not mentioning the breakfast time, there was almost no introduction to hotel facilities, membership benefits, lounge access, or other relevant services. I was also unclear whether breakfast was included under my membership benefits. Second, no welcome dessert or fruit arrangement was proactively provided upon arrival. Even after I explicitly asked about it, only a very basic fruit plate was sent, which did not appear to align with the standard welcome amenities usually offered to Platinum members. I later understood that there was a mismatch between my membership status in the hotel system, where I was still recorded as a Gold member despite already having Platinum status at the time of check-in. I understand this may have been caused by the timing of the booking versus the status upgrade. However, this discrepancy directly affected the recognition of membership benefits during the stay. In addition, lounge access was only arranged after I personally raised the issue following the status correction, rather than being proactively handled by the hotel team. Another important concern is the hotel location accuracy on ride-hailing platforms. Every time I used a ride-hailing service, the pickup and drop-off point was incorrectly positioned on the roadside instead of at the hotel lobby entrance, even when selecting the correct hotel name. This created inconvenience and also posed safety concerns when getting on or off vehicles near the main street traffic.

The hotel is not only a great hotel with good rooms, it is also exceeding the service level expected. We had the hotel to help with shuttle service from the airport, as we arrived late. The hotel also supported with guiding to visit areas, as we had time left, and helped the best and most economical way to return to the airport. Smiling personal in general, and always doing the outmost to help in case of questions.

It is our second time in this hotel, the first experience was positive as well as the second one. The room was big, clean, comfortable with a lot of light. I regret the pool felt pretty cold (despite its water being measured 28 degrees), and that the breakfast in the morning was pretty messy. There were way too many people, I stayed with my 4-yo daughter and I found it difficult to get things to eat while keeping an eye on our table (once I went together with her to pick fruits, and when we came back someone was already cleaning our table, even if our belongings where on it - that’s not acceptable). The day before, the dinner was overpriced (almost 200 for a bowl of noodles for my daughter and a plate of meat and veggies for me), but it was convenient to be able to stay inside.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is very close to some shopping malls that creates the convenience for guests on options for dining, shopping as well as spa treatments. Our room is extremely spacious and very new. I have chance to do some swimming at the swimming pool too. I think the pool is 20m long and very good for people like me that needs some exercise after all the good foods. Highly recommended who likes to stay in Suzhou.

Bed frame side was very dirty, almost like someone vomited on it and didn’t clean up. When asked to redeem ALL complimentary drink for a beer, hotel bar people said only Tsingtao beer, and its out of stock.
