Arrived at the hotel on a Sunday evening due to a business event I had Monday morning, I was greeted by a very polite member of staff named Malena, they gave me a very nice room, let me know about breakfast hours and was very welcoming. It was a great experience. My room was also very beautiful, could easily fit a family on 5 in there. Next destination for sure next time I return to Bristol.

Hotel was fine, reception very helpful Breakfast could of been warmer

Hi Sue C., Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Delighted to hear you found our reception team helpful; we pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to all our guests. It's like entering a hive of friendliness, just like our rooftop bees! We're sorry to hear that the breakfast temperature didn't hit the spot. We're all about serving up a sizzling experience, so it's a bit like missing the last puzzle piece when the heat isn't up to par. While we don't have plans to introduce a breakfast heatwave, we always strive to ensure everything is just right for our guests. We hope to see you next time you are in Bristol. All the best, Mahesh, General Manager

Questionable value for money.

I stay here regularly for work but this time we had a personal event on in Bristol and stayed with my partner. Small room which was very, very hot for some reason, even with windows open on a chilly day. But so not cheap. All hotels are becoming way to expensive for what they offer and we use them less and less for pleasure. It has become only when essential rather than for an evening out. It isn't the affordability it is the value for money, with parking fee this was £147. Appreciate many are more than that, and better rooms at the Grand are even more, but it is no wonder hotels are struggling. That was a £90 room. Why would you not want £90 four times from me rather than £147 once? Or a customer who felt that they had been in a £150 room? Everything has become very strange.

Hi there, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It's great to hear that you're a frequent visitor to our hotel for work, and we're thrilled that you chose us for your personal event in Bristol. However, we're sorry to hear that the room temperature was not to your comfort. While our historic building can sometimes present challenges, we do have air conditioning and extra fans available to ensure our guests can find their perfect room temperature. We're also mindful of the value we provide and strive to offer competitive rates for our guests, including the convenience of our secure on-site parking. We look forward to seeing you again in the future! All the best, Mahesh, General Manager

Well located but not worth the money. Premier Inn round the corner is better value.

It was highly ironic that I was there for a bioaerosol meeting and the conference room was unventilated, musty, mouldy and damp. Bedroom was cold and not very clean. Bed had springs sticking in you so not a great night sleep. Shower was just a dribble of water so unable to wash properly. Breakfast was ok but Premier Inn breakfast is alot better quality. Cutlery not laid out on table just dumped in a bucket like a canteen.

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It's great to hear that you found our location convenient for your needs. Our team works hard to maintain the historic charm of our building while providing modern amenities and we're thrilled this stood out to you. We're also glad you enjoyed the breakfast offerings at Keepers. On the flip side, it's disappointing to hear about your experience with the bed and the shower. We always aim for the utmost comfort and functionality in our rooms and it seems we missed the mark during your stay. We will have our maintenance team look into this. As for the cleanliness, our team is usually on point with daily housekeeping, so it's concerning to hear that it wasn't up to scratch. We certainly don't want guests comparing us to a canteen! Rest assured, we aim to provide a cozy and well-maintained environment for all who stay with us. We hope you'll consider giving us another chance to show you the high standards we're known for. Best wishes, Mahesh, General Manager

Old fashioned hotel but well located

Location is fine, but the overall style feels somehow old fashioned, in particular the thick carpet all around is very unpleasant. About the room, the air conditioning delivers a musty smell, the opening of the window is very restricted so that's difficult to get some fresh air. And again the thick carpet in the room doesn't give a tidy impression. Even thought the bath room has been modernized, the recycled bath tub shows that it was done at minimum cost. The breakfast choice is a bit limited and when items have run out, the refilling takes time. 2 coffee machines to serve the whole room doesn't really work, the first day it took me more around 10 minutes to get some hot water for the tea, because even for hot water you have to queue. The second day was better, even though one machine was out of order and the second run out of all its ingredients, fortunately it didn't run out of hot water.

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. It's great to hear that our hotel's location served you well on your visit to Bristol. We're also pleased that the modern touches in our bathroom caught your eye. However, we're sorry to hear that some aspects didn't quite meet your expectations. Regarding the decor, our hotel aims to blend the historical charm with contemporary art from local talent, and we apologise if this style wasn't to your taste. Moreover, we understand that breakfast is an essential part of the hotel experience and we're continuously working on improving the efficiency of our service, especially during busy times. We appreciate your feedback on the carpets; our housekeeping team works diligently to maintain cleanliness and we assure you that hygiene is of utmost importance to us. Rest assured that we'll also be looking into the report on the air conditioning to ensure a comfortable environment for all our guests. We're always grateful for feedback that helps to make our hotel even better. We hope you will come and stay with us again. Best wishes, Mahesh, General Manager
