The location was great, but was woken up at 3 in the morning to a loud noise from the air conditioning (which wasn’t on). This persisted for a few hours. There was no cold running water to have a drink, nor was there even any bottled water provided for purchase.

We were staying whilst viewing properties to purchase in Bristol. We had an advance call on our day of arrival asking if we were essential workers. We explained our visit purpose which was all good and within the restrictions. Upon arrival the girl on reception was friendly enthusiastic and helpful. She went through the Covid protocols, evening meals and breakfast procedures efficiently without being over the top. The hotel was clean, well placed for the city centre. We ordered a Deliveroo meal and the hotel provided all the crockery, cutlery required. Upon check out the girl on reception helped us with prospective areas of Bristol suitable for a young persons, which to view and which not which was really helpful. All in all a great stay! Please pass on our thanks to the entire team!

We arrived very early as the visit was related to a medical procedure. The reception staff made a roam available straight away which was very kind and greatly appreciated as the weather was cold and the city in lock down.

Good on the feedback, but the stay wasn’t the best

Air con was a nightmare. The room was freezing when I walked in (the bathroom NEVER warmed up). And when the air con was on it was either too cold or too hot and also very dry. Also noisy with people walking past. Staff didn’t appear to understand covid rules, hugging guests or not wearing masks properly (nose not covered or on their chin). The manager on the exit was lovely and took feedback positively. I’m not one to moan normally either! The building is gorgeous though and the decor in the rooms very cool. Industrial and modern. And the bar and restaurant (from previous experience when it was fully open) are also lovely.

Poorly maintained

The suite showed a distinct lack of care and attention. One of the window panes was crack and broke across the whole width of the window. The shower was hanging off the wall, lights above the sink did not work. The fridge had no water or complimentary drinks in it. There were no tea bags (except camomille).

Whilst I totally understand the challenges in the current climate, I feel customers should have been made aware of of amendments to specific services prior to booking so they can make an informed decision as to whether to book. -The take away breakfast was not highlighted until check in and certainly not worth the money. I would have booked room only and made alternative arrangements -hiding the bar opening hours (5pm -9pm)in a QR code not available until you’re in your room wasn’t helpful. Even then, in amongst all the other information, I didn’t notice the closing time. It also didn’t state that there was a very reduced range of beverages. We had arranged to meet family at 8pm in the bar, this was the actual reason for our visit. Again we would have made alternative arrangements had we known. - bar staff not highlighting that the bar was closing at all. We went to order a round of drinks to be informed that the bar was closed. Not in the least customer friendly. In all we were made to feel like an inconvenience. This could have been avoided if the website had stated that there was no reception/lounge seating areas, takeaway pre packed breakfast only and very limited bar service. None of these are deal breakers but allow customers to plan their stay accordingly.

excellent location reasonably priced car park next to hotel run by hotel payable staff very friendly, professional and welcoming. rooms decore was good as expected. i will definetly consider this hotel again next time i stay in bristol. location is excellent for shopping, night life, access from public transport.

We booked a disabled double room and got a twin. The room was very dark with bulbs missing in 5 of the lights and two not working. This was not good for someone with disabilities. The bathroom was freezing cold and the disabled toilet seat was loose. It also needs to be more clear that there is a charge for parking. I have stayed in Accor hotels all over Europe and this was by far the worst
