Maison Louise is ideally located in Vieux Lille, surrounded by charming shopping streets and within walking distance of most of the city’s iconic and touristic spots. The hotel staff is helpful, welcoming, and professional, which I truly appreciated. However, the rooms are extremely small, and the overall standard does not match the relatively high price point. While the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is cramped and would benefit from better maintenance. Another inconvenience is that the lobby is in a separate building from the rooms, requiring guests to walk outside and enter another building to access their accommodation. Additionally, some maintenance and painting work was visible during my stay. I did not try the breakfast and therefore cannot comment on it. The hotel has a lot of potential, and I wish the team the very best moving forward.

The only thing that did disappoint was at breakfast there were no glasses for the duration of while we were eating. When I did ask on multiple times for a glass as we did have young children with us all I was told is that they are all out

I had a great one night stay at the hotel. Great location, wonderfully quiet rooms with very comfortable, generous sized beds. Lovely very helpful staff who went beyond what they needed to do. Next time I hope to stay a bit longer and have breakfast.
