This was a really disappointing visit. We’ve stayed many times before as well but would question whether to stay again. First room was so bitterly cold and couldn’t get the heating to work at all. Reception staff did come and take a look and confirmed it didn’t work but due to now maintenance on site they offered a different room. Came back with key to room opposite but didn’t check room themselves - just asked when we walked in if it was ok. It took a while for that room to warm up so we sat downstairs in reception. Later at night in the room we found a damp patch on the floor underneath the air on/heating panel in the ceiling. As we were tired and had an early start we walked around it and reported it to reception in the morning. Also remote didn’t work on tv either which we fed back. Felt staff there couldn’t do much without maintenance and just felt like rooms were run down and not fit for people to stay in. Had booked directly through website and at time of booking it did indicate a high floor room but alas we were on the first floor. So disappointing and feel like the commitment to care and customer comfort just isn’t there any more and not sure we would pay to stay again especially given the high parking charge too. Food was okay - a bit mediocre but was hot.

Fairly basic Ibis near-ish to Heathrow. A short public bus ride away from Heathrow, train, tube, and bus stations. Unfortunately the buses aren't reliable depending the driver. I saw many of them deny people with luggage from boarding and they are ruthless and unforgiving about proper payment. Stranding people outside in the cold for an additional 15-30 minutes for the next bus where the next driver would do the same thing. Overall my stay was pleasant and quiet. Room was well maintained, clean, and comfortable. No status recognition for Platinum, not that I was expecting any but it is worth noting.

First of all, the location is so convenient to get to from the airport bus station. This hotel is priced so reasonably and value for money is good. The rooms are clean and spacious and the showers are great. They also have a restaurant and a 24 hour bar. The staff are very professional, accommodating and friendly. It's a yes from me.
