Comfortable bed, but rooms and corridors could use some renovation / paint job. Staff very friendly and excellent breakfast.

Cramped rooms in bad need of a full refurbishment if it wants to claim 4 stars The list of problems with the hotel is too many to mention but some headlines are A lift that takes you upstairs but if you are with luggage then you have to negotiate stairs or some badly made ramp which isn’t wide enough to take a person and luggage The windows are ancient and not double glazed and don’t even seal completely against the outside noise and air temp There aren’t even basic tea/coffee facilities in the room The restaurant menu is awful with poor offerings and bad menu design

This is a regular stop on our way south. As always the staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't have time to use the pool but it looked inviting!
