From our greeting by the lovely receptionist to the check out where staff magically appeared from everywhere to help with our bags this was a wonderful stay. Beautiful and well manicured grounds. Our Heritage Suite was large and nicely decorated. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were all delicious. Do try the Lao dishes - every one was enjoyable. It’s a short walk into the centre of town and we found Luang a Prabang to be relaxing and friendly. It was a great place to visit. The spa was very professional and we felt like very welcome guests at all times.

Stayed at the property for 3 nights. We booked an airport transfer which really set the tone of the stay. A great friendly and polite driver, waiting with a name board at the entrance of the arrivals area. He explained in English the time we would take to transfer (15 mins from the airport), and offered water and fresh cakes and cookies during our journey. On arrival greeted by an amazing front desk. We were announced as we entered the property which is a lovely Laotian touch, before being served a local welcome drink and snacks - delicious! Our room was graciously upgraded and available early morning for check-in, where we were shown the room and left to relax. Throughout our staff staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious everyday and we ate and drank at the Governors grill, which was some of the best food I have ate. Well cooked seasonal ingredients and cold drinks. The hotel is in a fantastic location, making walking around and visiting sites and restaurants very easy. I highly recommend a stay here. I would definitely return and tell friends and family to do the same!

Sofitel Luang Prabang is an amazing property and the perfect place to truly relax. The atmosphere is peaceful and refined, making it an ideal escape in Luang Prabang. The staff and service are exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, and the bed was absolutely amazing. The pool area is serene and well maintained, perfect for unwinding during the day. Breakfast was excellent, with great quality and variety. The spa experience was also outstanding—one of the highlights of our stay. A truly luxurious and relaxing experience. Highly recommended.
