The hotel is at a really nice location and makes it easy to get to all the main site, housekeeping do a great job of keeping room clean and well stocked, the room is good as it represents the local culture and the balcony is a nice space to relax. Breakfast is really good. The rooms are noisy, not just the creaking floors but you can hear all noise inside and out, there are mosquitoes in the room and the shower is awful, limited pressure and poor quality for a 4 star hotel. The staff are underwhelming I didn’t really feel welcome. Nor was Accor membership recognized. I would love to have tried dinner but they wouldnt let me sit at the restaurant only in the bar across the road no explanation as to why, there were plenty of tables. I will call out Tou who was the one staff member who spoke to me and made me feel welcomed, thank you, you are a great example of how to treat your guests.

I recently stayed at 3 Nagas Luang Prabang MGallery with a group, booking 5 rooms and experiencing most room types for 3 nights. This heritage boutique hotel offers unbeatable convenience in the heart of Luang Prabang’s UNESCO World Heritage area. Location: Simply the best. The hotel occupies two restored historic two‑storey buildings separated by the main street, right on the main tourist road. The morning alms‑giving ceremony takes place right at the hotel entrance, and the night market is only a 5‑minute walk. For first-time visitors, this location cannot be beaten. Rooms: The hotel has just 15 keys. Upper floors house spacious Executive Suites with large private outdoor terraces, original wooden flooring (with gentle creaks), and a more comfortable atmosphere. Rooms are well‑equipped but some fixtures show age: water pressure and temperature fluctuate in the shower, and some showerheads are worn and malfunctioning. Regular maintenance and replacement of consumable items would greatly improve comfort. Service & Benefits: Staff service is warm and attentive. During the Lunar New Year, they arranged a delightful red‑envelope lucky draw, adding festive joy. As the same owner runs the nearby Sofitel Luang Prabang, MGallery guests enjoy full access to Sofitel’s gym and swimming pool, with free scheduled shuttle service between the two hotels. Special mention to the long‑serving driver who speaks Cantonese and Chinese; his insightful commentary on Luang Prabang’s history and culture enriched our experience greatly. Dining: We dined at both properties. MGallery’s restaurant offers good value with the Accor Explorer 30% discount. Sofitel, even with discount, remains pricier at about 400–500 RMB per person. Sofitel’s Western food is excellent, but its Chinese dishes are not prepared by specialized Chinese chefs and are not recommended. Breakfast: The standout highlight and gave us a very good start in every morning. Due to its small size, the hotel serves a‑la‑carte breakfast with unlimited orders instead of a buffet. Every dish is beautifully presented and delicious—easily one of the best breakfasts in Luang Prabang. Points & Suggestions: Accor points for in‑house dining charged to the room were not correctly awarded during our stay; the hotel should review and ensure accurate points posting for members. Verdict: For location, heritage charm, and service, MGallery is ideal for first-time Luang Prabang travellers. On my next visit, I look forward to trying its sister property, Sofitel Luang Prabang. Highly recommended for a boutique, culture‑rich stay.

We stayed at 3 Nagas for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The rooms were full of character with all the amenities needed. The grounds of the hotel were small but lovely. Breakfast was very good and although we only ate lunch at the hotel's restaurant once, it was very good. The location of this hotel was convenient and the staff was super nice.
