What you described does not reflect the standards of comfort, attention, and care that we are committed to providing. I am truly sorry for the repeated issues with the hot water in your room. The delay in assistance, the flooding caused by the pipe leak, and the lack of clear communication regarding the reversed hot and cold water installation are unacceptable. You should have been informed and assisted promptly, and I regret that this did not happen. Please rest assured that we have already addressed the technical fault and reinforced our inspection and communication procedures to prevent such an incident from recurring. I also apologize for the lack of prior notification regarding the temporary closure of the gym and swimming pool facilities at our sister property, Sofitel. You should have been informed before arrival, and we are reviewing our pre arrival communication process to ensure guests receive timely and accurate updates about facility availability. I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with my recent stay at 3 Nagas MGallery. My stay was severely impacted by significant room facility failures. For three consecutive days, I was unable to take a proper shower due to a lack of hot water. When I contacted the service center for assistance, I had to wait over 20 minutes for staff member to arrive. Upon inspection, we discovered a severe pipe leak that caused flooding from the bathroom to the entryway, which remained unresolved that night. It was not until the third day that staff informed me the hot and cold water switches in my room had been installed in reverse during renovation. It is unacceptable that such a basic facility error was not identified or communicated to me upon check-in, causing me significant inconvenience. Furthermore, upon arrival, I was informed that the gym and swimming pool facilities—provided by a sister property—were closed for maintenance. I had not received any prior email notification regarding this unavailability.

The overall experience was excellent. The staff was kind, attentive and gracious. The room was comfortable and we liked the location. The one complaint that I think deserves some attention is the loose, loud creaking floorboards at the foot of the bed. The boards in the corner area are no longer well supported by the floor joists. It is impossible to navigate getting out of bed to use the facilities without making a significant noise and risking waking up anyone else sleeping in the room. Having said that we had a lovely stay and would recommend and return. Thank you.

It’s a fantastic accommodation choice for your trip to Luang Prabang. Breakfast is served à la carte with exquisite dishes. Though the hotel is housed in an old building, it’s absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. I smelled charcoal from a barbecue in the room while I was sleeping, but it was easily resolved the next day. Next time I stay at this hotel, I'll still choose the first room because it has a large balcony with a great street view. 5/5 – A perfect slice of old Luang Prabang 3 Nagas is everything a boutique heritage stay should be. Set in a beautifully preserved early-1900s Lao mansion right in the UNESCO old quarter, the property blends colonial-era charm — creaky wood floors, four-poster beds, rich rosewood details — with genuinely warm, attentive service. The location is unbeatable: you're steps from the morning alms-giving ceremony and a short stroll to the night market and riverside temples. The garden courtyard is a peaceful spot to unwind, breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. No TV in the room and no pool on-site, but a free shuttle to the sister property covers that. If you want an authentic, atmospheric base for exploring Luang Prabang, this is it. Thank you to the restaurant staff for greeting and serving us each morning. Mandal, Alisa, Yan and Phony. Was such a lovely stay at 3 Nagas. The staff were very helpful and throughout our stay made sure we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed having a cocktail during happy hour sitting outside watching the people go by. We received an upgrade with our membership which was lovely and the staff really recognised our loyalty. The ice-cream stand out the front was a great way to finish they night after a dinner in any of the fine cafe's/restaurants or just to cool down after seeing the sights. I had a wonderful time staying at the 3 Nagas. The location is wonderful, I could walk to most of the sites. I had the top floor suite, No. 7, and I could see the Buddhist alms giving from my balcony. Also, there staff is lovely. The girls and boys almost adopted this solo traveler and made me feel welcome all the time. They have mango trees around the breakfast area and in season mangoes fall from the tree which staff offers you to eat! The room was huge. I loved this heritage property.

My experience at 3 Nagas Luang Prabang was a mix of great hospitality and a few structural drawbacks. On the positive side, the staff provided excellent, attentive service throughout the stay. However, the breakfast soup was noticeably too salty, and the room suffered from poor soundproofing; the wooden floors creak loudly when walked on, making it quite noisy.

1. No Recognition of Gold Members - No Free Room Upgrade 2. No Water in Bathroom for 1 full day and night 3. No 24 hr Room Service 4. Dinner Order closes at 9:30 pm, which is way too early. 5. Breakfast is just super limited, and not international - it's a disaster for Accor standards. 6. No Lift, or Elevators in the property 7. The room wooden floors are super noisy, and are a cause of constant mental agony everytime anyone walks. 8. The room AC didn't cool enough - it just somewhat controlled the heat, that's all. It requires a change or thorough service.

From the moment I checked in until check out, my 4 night stay at the 3 Naga's has been perfect, A short car ride from the airport, the hotel is located in the heart of the city 's old district with many temples and sightseeing attractions nearby,. Some of the best shops are nearby if you look for traditional Lao textiles.

My stay at 3 Nagas Hotel was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism that made me feel right at home. I would especially like to thank Sarah, Linda, and Noy for their exceptional hospitality and attentive service throughout my stay. Their kindness, friendliness, and dedication to ensuring every guest has a memorable experience were greatly appreciated. My sincere thanks also go to the rest of the team, whose collective efforts made my visit so enjoyable. The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the heart of Luang Prabang's historic district, with easy access to temples, cafes, markets, and many of the city's main attractions. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and the cleanliness standards are impeccable. My room was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully designed, with a private balcony that provided a peaceful place to relax after a day of exploring. The combination of traditional Lao charm and modern comfort created a wonderful atmosphere. Another highlight was the healthy à la carte breakfast. Each morning offered fresh, delicious options that were thoughtfully prepared and provided the perfect start to the day. I highly recommend 3 Nagas Hotel to anyone visiting Luang Prabang. The outstanding hospitality, excellent location, spotless accommodations, spacious rooms, and quality breakfast make it a truly special place to stay. I look forward to returning in the future.

We looked forward to our stay at this property. We also booked the suite but left with quite dissapointment. What we loved: • The location • The drinks at the bar were good. We came back for happy hour the next day What could’ve been better: • The breakfast was very subpar. We were there at 6:30am. There was only 1 waitress taking order from every tables, crossing the street to get to the kitchen and serving the food on her own. She got our orders wrongly as well but she fixed it at the end. She was obviously overwhelmed. We stayed for 2 nights and the menu are the same. The breakfast was not good to our taste, omelette was plain and dry. • The bathroom comes with a tub. But the curtain looks dirty and disgusting. For a 5-star property, I think they should easily change that. The amenities were so underwhelming, it feels like staying in a budget hotel. • The aircon in the room was not cold as well. The position of the aircon was next to our heads, so it blows air the whole time we sleep. • The hotel has no gym/pool, but apparently we can access them at Sofitel. When I asked they said the facilities are closed. No reason given why they are closed. • No one helped us at the check out, the only question we had was if we consumed any minibar. No one asked us about our experiences so we didn’t bother to provide direct feedback. As an Accor Platinum member, I will definitely not recommend this hotel for the bucks that we paid. I passed by Avani+ and it seems like a better alternative.

Regarding the gym and pool access, we would like to clarify that Sofitel Luang Prabang is currently closed for a full renovation, and therefore the pool and fitness facilities are temporarily unavailable during this period. We also appreciate your comments regarding the bathroom and amenities. Immediate action has already been taken, and all shower curtains have now been replaced to ensure a more comfortable experience for our guests. Thank you as well for considering our property at a 5 star level; while we are officially a 4 star hotel, we continuously strive to deliver service and comfort that exceed expectations.
