We booked 2 interconnecting rooms for 3 nights and I had email correspondence with the hotel prior to our stay, and they were very helpful. The rooms were clean & neat and housekeeping cleaned the rooms daily. The only meal we ate there was a pizza the night we arrived, which was very tasty. We did buy drinks from the bar & could buy water from the bar to take to our rooms. My son & nephew enjoyed playing table tennis in the evening. We used the pool area which was lovely in the afternoon & early evening - there is a little bar to get drinks & the views are nice. It's a nice place to chill out after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is 10 mins walk from Bogatell beach and about 30 mins away from Sagrada da Familia. On our last night we asked reception staff for suggestions for restaurants and were provided with some good choices (about 15 min walk away). Although the metro is very close to the hotel, we used taxi's and they are readily available near the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for the quality of the staff, and the location to some tourist attractions & the beach, and would stay there again next time I am in Barcelona.

Well located, however the room wasn't very clean (bedsheet and shelves were dusty, floor had bits on it), and the room was missing basic amenities like shower gel, and a bin (the bin in the bathroom didn't have a lid, so good luck if you're menstruating). There were only 3 pillows which were flat. Also, the shower drain must not have been cleaned for some time, which resulted in the shower flooding every time we used it.

Second IBIS style I visit (holiday concert weekend) after the wonderful experience at the (new) Sevilla one and this one leaves me a mitigate feeling. Location is OK and hotel is quite new. Entrance lobby looks a little messy... ping pong table and children area in the middle of the tables. I understand it's "trendy"...but not very practical. Room is not very big but nice, service is ok. Swimming pool on the roof is welcome, but the pool, like the area is really small and crowdy...we left after 15 minutes as it was almost impossible to swim and talk normally. Wecome drink was welcome too, and the bar service was very kind. The main concern is about the reception. I know it's not easy to find people nowadays...but c'mon, being kind and smilling is a minimum you may await from reception people. I would have been alone, I would have left 2 minutes after beiung arrived. The receptionnist looked bored and was really arrogant ! You may imagine that it was his bad day, but on the evening, we met another one that was even not looking at us when we were talking to him !!! Reception is a strategic position...and gives the customer the warm feeling to feel welcome. So PLEASE managers...ask your team the minimum awaited at this position ; being kind, polite...and smile. It will for sure change everything and gives customers the envy to come back. I will not...sorry.

Facilities are very nice. Shower faucet has a problem every room cleaner would notice but doesn’t get fixed. Booking process was chaotic dealing with super friendly front desk not capable of grasping the whole story. Accor, ibis, booking.com websites not giving same information about rooms with pet. Booking directly at the hotel by email was my choice.
