Use this hotel for a stop over as an alternative to match day price hiked Liverpool or Manchester. Quiet location, immaculately clean and great staff. Plenty of parking or a 10-15 minute walk to Crewe station.

The hotel was clean and had all the usual and expected amenities and services available, the staff were either newly trained up or inexperienced - check-in and any interaction with them felt laboured. Location is a leisurely 15mins walk away from Crewe Railway Station. The hotel is opposite Crewe Business Park. I was surprised to have been charged for requesting some water which was carbonated, it was simply carbonated tap water which also felt a little penny pinching. Breakfast was sufficient, but nothing to write home about. All in all a rather mediocre stay with nothing particularly praiseworthy to note regarding the staff or service.

£100 pre-authorisation remains on my credit card although paid for everything was I went along and you took the payment for the room in advance. Now 3 days since I checked out. Breakfast was still being served when house-keeping knocked on my room. Why couldn't they wait until I had checked out? Seems to be a lack of communication, as above. The wine list said 125ml glasses of wine available but when I came to pay for my evening meal discovered it was 175ml. On querying told no longer done only 175 and 250ml glasses. No apology and why wasn't I told when ordering? Poor service.

Room was fine, the double bed was so comfortable and big but the sofa bed was totally the opposite. Squeaky, springs had gone so it was very very uncomfortable to even sit on, let alone sleep on, very noisy every time I moved. Breakfast not to the usual standard. Very basic, no pastries or cereals, just croissants and Coco Pops, no cheese slices or selection of fruit. No gluten free option rolls, no hash browns or scrambled eggs. All of this have been available in my previous stays at Ibis Styles (the breakfast was the main reason I booked it!)

I have been staying here for a few years and I always have had a pleasant experience. Hotel is clean and modern and service is great. Understandably, over the past year the team has changed and they are still getting use to the job so a few mishaps here and there but still good overall.

No frills but clean and spacious. As an Accor Gold member I wasn't given any special 'hello' and the free welcome drink wasn't offered. I've felt a much more valued customer elsewhere. Room was basic and not as good as HI or Premier Inn.

Had to make a last minute booking here due to a car break down. Booking on line was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of sanitiser around and space to keep distance. Room clean and comfortable.

Great hotel but noisy

First time at this Ibis styles, and didn’t disappoint for style and being modern. Room was spotless, and everything necessary for a good nights rest. Breakfast was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. The only problem was the room location, room 212 was immediately above the main entrance, where guests come out from the bar to smoke, or drink. Guests were noisy and inconsiderate; i tried to contact reception with no luck. it quietened down about 10pm, and being a warm night the room windows were open. 1230am and noisy drinkers came out and woke me up. I rang reception and eventually someone answered. I complained about the noise, and after 10 minutes peace and quiet returned. Will definitely stay here again, but in a room on the opposite side of the hotel

I don't want to give an excellent review, otherwise it will get too busy for us stay easily!!!! It suits us when we are in the area. We really like the lounge area, as it is a place to relax in the evenings.
