Chose this hotel to celebrate my mum’s birthday and expected a seamless stay especially since it’s marketed as pet-friendly, but several incidents left us disappointed. 1. Check-In: Although the hotel claims to be pet friendly, the staff member assisting us was clearly afraid of dogs. We were asked to leave our dog outside during check-in, even though my dog prefers to stay close to me which cause her to panic. This sets an uncomfortable tone from the start. 2. Connecting Rooms: We booked a suite which were 2 connecting rooms, but the connecting doors were not unlocked when we arrived. We had to wait for a staff member to come up and unlock them, which delayed our settling in. 3. Dinner Service: We were served completely melted ice cream. When I pointed it out, the staff simply replied “yeah” before realising from my reaction that the situation wasn’t acceptable. Only then did he ask if I wanted it replaced. 4. Incorrect Dessert Order: Despite confirming our orders beforehand, our table was served five apple crumbles — for a group of three. It was baffling and added to the overall sense of disorganisation. 5.Room Amenities: For a 5-star hotel, it was surprising that no bottled water was provided in the rooms. On top of that, the coffee machine in one of our rooms was not working. Overall, the service and attention to detail fell short of what one would expect from a property of this calibre. It was a disappointing stay, and I hope the hotel takes steps to improve these basic service lapses.

Room is very clean, the food was ok but the temperature in the room is very cold. Not sure why it is still cold even though we tried to increase the temperature
