Previously stayed in the Budget Ibis next door, but this time managed to get a room at the Styles with breakfast for the same price. 100% better, much more space, better breakfast, good clean room. Just what was needed for a quick stop off hotel.

reported a faulty room no air con. Not given another for 4 hours. Said they would repair it. I thought no way!!! 9.30 given another room bathroom light out of order. I gave up. They do not check the rooms. I would have thought that after giving me a faulty room they would check the next to make sure it was perfect. This is the worst I have ever been treated. On check out there was nobody at the desk, to avoid complaints I suppose.

As expected. The standards were consistent with all the hotels we visited in the Ibis chain which is why continue to use these hotels. Some Ibis we have visited have a small restaurant which would have been e welcome addition at this hotel.

Friendly staff with cycle facilities that could be improved

The staff were very helpful. It’s great to have a locked cycle store. My insurance needs me to lock the cycle frame to a permanent structure using an approved lock. This is not possible with the very short cycle stands provided. Please upgrade to cycle stands with good height.
