The reception staff were very helpful and the room was very well-sized and equipped with all the amenities required for a restful and relaxing stay. The hotel is very well located to restaurants, a pharmacy, a supermarket and easy bus access to the centre of Rome.

Building probably old from 60/70s, not adequately clean, not even a welcome bottle of water in the room. Well below standards of any other 4 stars hotel in Europe, and in the world. Shuttle bus to/from airport satisfactory for 6€ each way.

The staff was friendly and welcoming and the room was ok. However housekeeping was inattentive (they left someone else's rubbish in the bins) - I think because of shrinked personnel on the 1st Jan, but still unpleasant for us. Also the room had some technical issues with the electric sockets, one of them would work on and off. The quality of the breakfast was very disappointing, for Rome and for a Mercure hotel - the eggs were drowned in frying oil and where disgusting, the pastries were stale. Again, not at the usual level for a Mercure venue
