I had originally tried to book this hotel at the beginning of our holiday but was unavailable. So booked for last night in Rome. Did not regret it. Staff were excellent.

We needed a quick comfortable short overnight stop not far from Fiumicino airport at a reasonable price compared to on airport hotels. We had a flight at 6.50am. Only one check on agent available who was busy. After a long wait another agent appeared and he was exceptionally helpful and cheerful. The room was a complete let down however. The “Superior Room” had multiple issues. 1) the shower head / hose etc was not working properly and we struggled to reposition it to accompdate each one of us. 2) the extractor fan was not working. Consequently the bathroom was overrun with steam. Probably like this for some time as the shower door rail and the the tile grout were filthy dirty and worse still covered with mould. 3) the window had to be lifted to force it shut to keep out the cold air and street noise 4) the curtains and lining curtains did not shut to the centre without standing on a chair to help pull them across. 5) we couldn’t get the AC to work. Might have been not following instructions but we couldn’t find any 6) no USB’s only sockets that required adaptors. 7) no refreshments available in the room 8) Airport shuttle doesn’t start until 7am 9) no food available until 7am - would have been useful if there was a vending machine serving some breakfast basics like pre packed pastries and coffee. We can’t be the only guests with an early morning flight. I could go on but we were only there from 10pm to 4.30 am so maybe other delights awaited? In the big scheme of things, these were not life threatening items but we paid a reasonable sum for a very quick stopover and if you’re going to sell a product then get it right.

Disaster and they really didn't care

What a disaster. We were a 33 person group ... yes... 33 paying customers. When arrived at buffet breakfast with one other large group already being present we forcefully told ...not to sit in the hotel guest area where individuals were having breakfast... not even to use the coffee machine or water from that area. Imagine 60 customers herded into one small space. The front desk ...on Thursday october 24 said .." sorry " and did NOTHING. We often bring groups of 30, 35, 40 persons but NEVER will again . Rome has alot of other choices who CARE ABOUT their customers. Less than one star.
