We had a great stay at the Royal Heritage. Check in process was very smooth and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is very central, walking distance to Pasar Gede, Alun2, and Kampung Batik. Breakfast selection, though mentioned intercontinental, was quite heavily local, which I loved! The gym facility needs some upgrades and maintenance. I wanted to use the gym but it only has a few machines and some of them were rusty & dusty it turned me off. There was also an issue when we wanted to stream a rented movie on HBO and the internet connection wasn’t good enough it couldn’t play the movie. Overall it was still a great stay and I’d recommend to stay here!

We loved the hotel! It was wonderful to return to a comfortable, secure room each day confident that it would have been impeccably cleaned and refreshed! The facilities ( particularly the pool!) were fantastic and the meals we had in the restaurant provided us with the best meals we had in Solo - ( ( and enjoyed some good ones! A special thanks to Ana in reception, who was always helpful and efficient, whatever we asked of her!

I had a pleasant stay at The Royal Heritage Surakarta. The hotel has a beautiful classic Javanese atmosphere, with elegant traditional details that give the property a unique and luxurious character. The location is also convenient, making it easy to explore the city and its surroundings. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. I also enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel, which feels calm and sophisticated while still maintaining its traditional identity. One downside, however, was the food. I ordered a meal from the restaurant and requested room delivery, but unfortunately, the food was not as enjoyable as I expected. The taste could definitely be improved, especially considering the overall quality and image of the hotel. Overall, I still had a good experience staying at The Royal Heritage Surakarta. With some improvements to the restaurant’s food quality, I believe the stay could be even better.

The Royal Surakarta Heritage is a great place to stay in Solo. The location is perfect to explore the centre on foot, with plenty of food and pasar options nearby. The decorarion is superb and the rooms extremely comfortable. The staff are friendly and ready to accommodate requests. The buffet breakfast is worth it!

Located in central area, with easy access to nearby attractions. However, some services need be improved: daily housekeeping don't seem to check the soap/shampoo & we were left without these for a couple of days until I decided to call (happened for both rooms). Bathroom mat taken but not returned. Went to the pool, but no staff attending (had to engage front desk after waiting a long while). Otherwise, everything else was good: bed was comfy, breakfast had nice selection (staff well mannered), and lots of interesting decor that would satisfy photography hobbyist looking for content.

Located in center of Surakarta city. Close to Sultan's palace, Gede market, and also Pusat Grosir. Room was spacious and also very clean. Switcher between handshower and headshower did not work by design (I think they upgraded the bathroom but did not replace the switcher so it did not work) Check in and check out processes were seamless. One thing can be improved is receptionist can be more comprehensive explaining to guest during check in, i.e : venue and time for breakfast. Service was great. I will return

Bed and location was great, but the internet is really bad. Not only the wifi, but smart tv inside the room can not connect to internet. Building still under renovation, some floor are closed. Swimming pool ok but need renovatation too. But I like the lobby, looks so nice while showing Javanese tradition too. Car park very limited for a big hotel. I dont think the park slot 1:1 to the room capacity.

It's just ok in terms of rooms conditions, location, and hospitality. Our stay will be better of other guests were behave well. They are very noisy (I noticed more than 8 people in one room) and dirty (big pile of trash just put in the hotel corridor) example room 612.
