Had family vacations in Solo and decided to stay at Novotel Solo (2 nights, 3 rooms). Overall it’s good experience. The hotel is little bit old but very well maintained. Super kind and helpful staff. Located in the heart of Solo which is close to good restaurants, Pasar Gedhe, good coffee shops and Mangkunegara.

Profoundly Let Down by the Experience

The breakfast service was highly unsatisfactory during my five-day stay. Each morning, the buffet was nearly empty, with staff failing to replenish the food. Additionally, the dishes lacked flavor, with almost no discernible taste. Despite arriving at various times, the situation remained consistent. For an Accor group hotel, this level of service falls far below expectations and standards. Furthermore, I booked two rooms and was not informed of ongoing renovations on the same floor. The persistent drilling noises during the day were highly disruptive. To add to the disappointment, basic amenities such as the hairdryer in the room were non-functional. Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing and not reflective of the quality I expect from Accor hotels.

its a wonderfull experience to stay at novotel solo. we stay in family room on the upper floor. the customer service had contacted me few days before arrival to offer room upgrade (im gold plus) but since i need the extra bed space i had to decline it. i appreciate the good gesture from novotel solo. checkin and checkout run smoothly and their staff is very helpfull along the process. the pool is next to breakfast area, this is a good position for parents. we also had dinner in the restaurant and the pasta was delicious.

Please give bottled waters instead of filtered water in the jar

This is the first Novotel hotels that I stayed which provide filtered water in the jar instead of the bottled waters. I think it'S. in a way downgrading the image of this particular hotel.

This is our second trip to Solo and second stay at Novotel. As usual it always satisfying stayed at this Hotel. The room spacious, very good breakfast, lots of variance. And staff also very warm welcome. I never had any complain while stay here. Even the building is not an new, but its well maintained.
