Strategic location, but lacks comfort. The hotel is generally comfortable, but cleanliness is a serious concern for a 4-star hotel.

The check in process was a breeze, unfortunately even though as an Accor Gold member, we were not given a room upgrade since, according to the receptionist, the hotel was fully booked. Will try our luck next time. The hotel room is ok, We have the room facing the main road so the road noise is still heard from the room. Thank you for the welcoming notes and cakes.... very nice... We have our Gold Member complimentary welcome drink in the lounge. The Lounge personnel are very welcome, we rest a quite some time in the lounge. The car parking space are limited but the hotel security really helped us in finding a spot. We lend the umbrella from the hotel security for a night walk near the hotel, when we go down from our room, we thought it has stopped raining. Really appreciated.

We enjoyed a four-night family stay at Novotel Solo for a birthday and school holiday. The strategic location was perfect for our itinerary. We were kindly upgraded to a spacious Family Room on the top floor, which was quiet and offered great city views. The staff was attentive, even providing a thoughtful birthday cake for my daughter. Excellent facilities for kids, especially the pools and kids' club. The breakfast variety, including local Gudeg and Jamu, was a highlight. A reliable, well-located choice for families—we would definitely return.

Overall I like to stay in Novotel, but quite bit dusty especially on the bed and pillows and not so well maintained of the bathroom door and here and there.
