It might probably room not fully occupied everyday so the bedsheet and bedcover already been set for longtime and it create bug inside, so when we sleep on there inside we got itch on entire skin because of bug or germ .

As usual Novotel always please me with comfort room and great breakfast menu. I also use breakfast at room to avoid crowd and simple/fast breakfast. Somehow, wake up call did not went well. I call asked for wake up but not succesful.

Actually i love the space.. its big. Pool and gym are great But i have things that if novotel can fix. It will be perfect Pool side order food took 45mins just for sandwhich I was on 8th floor, the water flow is tiny and so small. Need to fix here and there.. carpets are too old. Air con this time is cool but noisy. Last time stay we have to change room because the air con is not cool.

Had stayed for more than 5 days, the house keeping staffs seems do not provide at their best to clean up the bathroom area, specifically at the closet. Left yellowish and dots marks in the closet bowl, I assumed it was not cleaned at all. In addition, the housekeeping staffs also make noisy sounds during their work in the morning (slammed door); I become reluctant to extend and come again to Novotel Solo as part of Accor Club hotels chain. Hope the management and Accor Club could improve the services (particular for house keeping & security staffs) as the Guests would have many hotels option in Surakarta. On the other side, I also appreciated the welcome fruits platter upon the check-in in the room.

relaxing transit

I styed twice in this hotel on February 2021 due to transit and need to take a rest during my long trip. It was very pleasant stay, as platinum member the hotel offered me with welcome drink and cake, afternoon tea and snack and also late check out. the breakfast arrangement was good, they give option to be delivered to your room or in the restaurant with prebooking schedule to avoid crowd.

Very old hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family and was not a memorable one. Building is very old, with outdated design and interior in need of urgent major renovation. There is smell of humid / moldy in elevator, alley, and inside the room. Service was good and food was acceptable. But it needs a full blown renovation to keep up with its 4* brand. Wouldn't stay here again on my next visit to Solo.
