We were checked in by a not so friendly lady. She spoke a bad English and was not welcoming at all. She did not identify me as Accor Accor Platinum member. She took our passports, credit cards, charged the whole stay. When I made the reservation, I made clear I wanted 2 beds (2 male guests in Saudi Arabia in the same room!). She said, we charge. Charge was one of the few words she pronounced correctly. We were too tired and accepted. No free drink voucher issued, no room upgrade, not a single "thank you". You definitely need to improve customer attitude!!!!! The room was on 5th floor, terrible smell of smoke outside, fortunately none in the room. The view over the Kingdom tower was breathtaking, but the glasses were covered by sand. I guess they were never cleaned since the hotel was built. Nice large bathroom with a very good shower, full of bad amenities... we had 2 large towels and 1 hand towel. The next morning we run out of toilet paper , we were provided with one. Breakfast was not included and, surprise, we took the extra charge . It was one of the most saddest breakfast in my Accor life. Drinks were always non existent and staff was surprised we asked for juice. Back to the room, bed (king plus the extra roll away) were ok. A/c was ok, but the feeling was not. At a more accurate check, the carpeted floor was very dirty. I had a pair of white soiled slippers, they were black the next day. There were flies smashed over the curtains, a strong sewer stench while stepping into the bathroom. 2 bottles of water were provided, I had to request them again the next day. Housekeeping was a bit farfetched.

Well located but the hygienic standards are one of the worst I’ve ever experienced because my towels were folded instead of replaced... the clean my room was put ok the door knob at one of the days and when I came back I found out that they haven’t cleaned my room... to be honest, I would not consider this hotel again... value for money was not worth it at all..

The hotel is new or renovated. Rooms are clean. My only comment is that they are using generic notsoaps and shampoos, instead of Novotel branded ones. They also didn't have a loofah. As insignificant as it is, it's annoying. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the bed mattress was hard, it could be a preference for some, but it was uncomfortable for me.

Extremely poor service Food is really of low quality, you are compromising the quality to reduce the cost, I got a soup for 40 SAR and this is water with low quantity or veg. Same for the the pasta!!

Stayed in room 601, the carpet is so badly stained, the shower curtain had fungus at the bottom, the table in the room is full with cigarette burn marks, the aircon is super noisy, etc. Was totally disgusting!!!

Poor decor Terrible and old bathrooms Breakfast was low quality They forgot to check me out and then stlaked me via email to get paid and when I sent the transfer copies they could not find the amount and asked me again again for it.

I booked an non refundable booking, but before 4 days of arriving I went to hospital since I had a reaction / allergy to food, emailed and called the hotel and they didn’t care and still they charged me the full stay. No one understood my situation. Never will I stay in the chain again. Bad customer experience. Better to stay at a local hotel than your chain

The sink had no hot water. The plug in the sink didn't work. The shower was luke warm. The room could have been cleaner, the edges and corners were dusty / dirty.

when I cheeked in they gave me room near the elevator I cant sleep because I can hear the voice from the elevator + wasn't clean room + bad view + I call the reception to change the room but no body answer poor service + only late night shift the one in reception answer the call.

I came around noon to take some rest before checking out, I was disturbed twice within less than half an hour. The first was knocking on the door asking if i had laundry. The second the room phone was ringing to remind me to check out. As for the entertainment center on B1, i wanted to play ping pong with my friend but there was only one racket, I asked the person in charge for the other one he said the store is closed and tomorrow he will bring the second one. Also we went to play billiard but there was no chalk to fix the head of the rod, i also asked the person in charge and again he said that the store is closed and he will bring one tomorrow. We went to do message on the message chair, one of them does not work at all while the back of the second seems to be broken.

I was only there for a night, so my experience was short, but I did not feel it would be somewhere I would go back to in a rush. The staff were friendly and helpful, but in general, the hotel seemed quite tired and the breakfast was very basic.

Starting from the cold check in(and I'm a loyalty member!!) through room service that don't speak Arabic (in an Arab country) to making me pay cash advance for my room service all the way to the fungus growing in bathroom makes this one of my worst hotel stays EVER. The in room food menu makes you feel you're in India. The restaurant serves only breakfast!!
