Overall the family and I had an great time at staying at the Mercure in Hai Phong. Beautiful modern design, great staff and good breakfast buffet. Staff are helpful, attentive and caring. One of the front desk staff was able to booked us a beautiful relaxing trip to Ha Long Bay and also took care of my parents when they had issues with their room. My room was great but we had issues with the wifi (room 1104). Staff were informed and apologized for the inconvenience but never resolved the issue. Wifi was unusable in our room and had to use data throughout our stay. I hope this will be fixed for future guest. Overall with the wifi only being a minor issue, we definitely had a great time and would recommend to friends and family.

Our room was good, but after a day out from 9am to 3pm is had not been cleaned, therefore we never had new towels, which was dissapointing. In addition your concierge service was very poor: no direct service, the person could not speak English well and we ended up not going to Catba island because the only offer was an overpriced 8 Million dong offer... To concludewe organized an overpriced transportation to Hanoi with you (more than 3 times more expensive that the trip we had from Hanoi to Halong) and the driver did not take the highway during the first hour to save on tolls and then I was falling asleep on the highway: I had to wake him up, it wa sunacceptable, especially for the price we paid. Being French, I know that Mercure and Accor would be very dissapointed to read all this. I will probably complain at he accor group directly. Thanks.

Facility is new thought the room is fairly small. Flame restaurant is really good. And I have not received VAT invoice , which promised to be sent to my office (as staff not able to provide before departure!). This need to be improved.

It was a brief stay for me in Haiphong and Mercure offered an average experience. This is my first time staying in your hotel and I don't have the intention to book again as the value is less than the paid price. A couple of reasons: - Check-out process (with VAT invoice issuance) took almost 40mins and made me late for my meeting. - Hotel layout is a bit less than optional - Breakfast area is on the corner of 6th floor, far away from the elevators - My company car had to pay 30k VND of parking fee when picking me up
