My room was cosy but comfortable. Good bed. I liked that the hotel is a little removed from the main road. However, one thing that had a big, negative impact on my stay was that the aircon didn't work. I booked this hotel specifically because the rooms were airconditioned and I get uncomfortably warm at night. I mentioned to the front desk that it wasn't working and was advised to keep it on because 'it takes time'. It was 'on' but not working for three days. I ended up sleeping with the windows open, which helped cool it, but I was facing the internal courtyard – thinking this will be quieter than facing the road, except people kept going outside in groups, talking loudly, listening to music, on a smoking break (which I could smell in my room and was revolting), and speaking loudly on their phones with speakers on. This happened every evening and late night and woke me up at night. The other, slightly minor issue was the water pressure in the shower, which was low. This is mostly an issue if, like me, someone has long hair and need to wash it. It's also a shame there's no smart TV.

Due to the current season, the system is set to heating mode as long as outdoor temperatures remain in the low single digits. Unfortunately, this means that cooling is not active during this period, and we are sorry that this was not clearly communicated to you. We truly regret the discomfort this caused. We also apologize for the noise you experienced from the courtyard. These disturbances likely originated from staff of our neighboring gastronomic business. We will address this with them and kindly remind them to be more considerate, especially during evening and night hours. We are very sorry that this impacted your sleep and comfort. Thank you as well for pointing out the low water pressure in the shower and the absence of a smart TV. Feedback like yours is extremely valuable to us, as it helps identify areas where we can improve the guest experience. We will review these matters carefully. My overall stay was very comfortable, and the surrounding facilities are well-equipped, which made this a satisfying hotel experience. During my stay, the staff were friendly and attentive, and they were able to accommodate my needs promptly. That said, I do have a small suggestion for improvement. The steps on the 7th floor can be inconvenient when carrying luggage, especially when traveling alone. It would be much more convenient if an accessible ramp or a luggage-friendly slope could be installed.
