Great location, well appointed rooms. Room was allocated on their newer wing with stunning views. Special mention to Pierre, Rahim and another gentleman (apologies, I missed out their name) for seamless check in and assisting with local attractions. The General Manager’s welcome card and amenities was a lovely gesture and made us feel truly valued. Will highly recommend this hotel! Looking forward to our next stay soon.

The hotel benefits from an excellent location and a competent, polite team. However, it is visibly short-staffed, which impacts the guest experience across several areas. A cot request took considerable time to be fulfilled, and a maintenance issue (a flickering lamp) was only addressed late in the day. At breakfast and dinner, restaurant staff were clearly overwhelmed - food replenishment and guest attention suffered despite their best efforts. Housekeeping also needs closer attention. Ongoing exterior painting works suggest renovations may be underway, which could explain the current growing pains. Overall, the foundations are solid, but until staffing levels improve, I would consider alternative options.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for the numerous shortcomings you experienced; the situation you described regarding the maintenance and cleanliness of your room falls far below the MGallery standards we pride ourselves on. I am deeply concerned to hear about the hygiene issues in your bathroom and the delays in fulfilling your requests for a cot and maintenance. Please be assured that I have personally met with our Executive Housekeeper and our Technical Director to address the mold on the blinds, the air vent buildup, and the drainage issues in room 127 immediately. We are also currently reviewing our staffing levels in the restaurant to ensure our service remains attentive, even during peak periods and ongoing exterior renovations. On a positive note, I am glad that our reception and restaurant teams made a polite and competent impression despite the pressure. I recently stayed at Hotel Royal St. Georges Interlaken MGallery for four nights and five days, and my experience from check-in to check-out was nothing short of incredible. My stay truly felt magical. The cleanliness of the room stood out immediately. It was spotless when I arrived, and every day it was cleaned to perfection. I always came back to a room that felt fresh, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were exceptionally kind. Every interaction, whether passing someone in the hallway or at the front desk, came with a warm greeting and a genuine offer to help. That level of friendliness made such a difference and added to the overall experience. As a solo traveler, one of the most special parts of my stay was the hotel bar. I spent every evening there, and Ibrahim, the bartender, was absolutely incredible. He made delicious, customized drinks and always took the time to talk with me and ask about my adventures around Switzerland. Those conversations meant more than I can explain and made me feel far less alone during my trip. My room was beautiful and full of character. It had a vintage feel with pink chairs and a stunning chandelier, which made it feel like the perfect, cozy, feminine space. I also loved that each room seems to have its own unique design, which makes the hotel feel even more special and authentic. The location is another major highlight. It is very close to Interlaken Ost train station and within easy reach of restaurants, activities like paragliding, and everything you would want to explore in the area. It truly felt central and convenient for everything. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I am already looking forward to coming back one day and bringing my family to experience it as well!
