Perfect stay in middle of the magnificent mile auf Interlaken. Great staff and service. Enjoyed the Fondue at the Historic private restaurant Louis XV. We will definitely return! Unfortunately no A/C available in the historic part of the building but available in part of the hotel.
I like Interlaken

I always enjoy staying at the Royal St. George. The position is perfect as you can park your car and walk or use public transport, bus, train, ship or horse and carriage. We are going to return in October.

Lovely room nicely renovated, just few negative points : - a soap support is missing - balcony was not properly cleaned - some stain on the bathroom floor (under the sink) - not enough room on the tables of the buffet, where to put your plate when you serve yourself -
Disappointing MGallery Hotel
JennyWrenLuxembourg 18/07/2021 TripAdvisor review
This hotel is fairly centrally located in Interlaken. Unfortunately, it is on a stretch of road where buses, cars and numerous motorbikes travel, often very noisily, throughout the day and early evening (there are other hotels along this same road where traffic is limited). We stayed in room 102; a Baroque styled room which was somewhat tired and in need of refurbishment. The bath tub was not operational (and when we inquired as to why it wasn't working we were told it was for decoration purposes only), the door to the bathroom did not shut properly, there was damage to the parquet in the room ... The room had a balcony, which although promised much gave limited views. The view towards the alps was very restricted because of the Hotel du Nord, the shops and trees opposite. The balcony was shared with other rooms, which meant that the door/windows could not be left open overnight allowing only a small amount of ventilation (the Baroque style rooms are without air-conditioning; a fan, however, was provided). Breakfast at the hotel was good, but evening, a la carte, meals were disappointing and to our minds overpriced. Restaurant staff were friendly. 25 swiss francs a day for parking and 20 swiss francs per day for a small dog. Overall, we would not recommend this hotel. We honestly query as to why this hotel is included in the MGallery collection; it does not have the ambience we usually look forward to.
