Excellent and professional reception and welcoming. As Diamond holder we have been upgraded into Royal Suite that was very nice and spacious. Location is perfect and from there so many places to visit and activities to move on from a day to another. We'll for sure come back again in the future

Hotel Beat all expectations, lovely touch was the birthday rose and greeting card from the hotel The staff where very friendly and efficient. On departure they took us to Interlaken Ost railway station with out asking. Will defiantly visit again.

Lovelly location, altho out of season and most things closed due to the strike we still had a wonderful 3 day break.

Worst stay ever

I have been overcharged in every possible way. The car park seemed included in the package (reason why we chose this hotel) it was crazy expensive. The breakfast wasn’t fully included and had to pay for food. On top of it all we got charged for spilling some wine on the bed (800 francs) why would they even let you order food and consume it in the bedroom If that’s the case?? That was the day my boyfriend and I got engaged, we spent so much time saving for the trip and ended up having a sleepless night worried about how we could find the money to pay. I travel a lot for work, been at hundreds of hotels and I have never been treated this bad. They ruined what was meant to be the best day of my life. I will never recover from it!

Good service, clean and secure. Breakfast was very nice too. A great variety of items. Even sparkling wine. I am sure the hotel building is under heritage protection. The souvenir shop next door gives 10% discount to guests. That’s great.

Creaking and zero sound proof hotel

I can hear every foot step of upper floor people. Floor is very worned out and it creaks on my every single foot step. Room is warm enough but bathroom is so cold especially during shower time. Breakfast menu is simple and staffs are friendly and helpful.

Staff were excellent. Large room. Old hotel with that comes older style furnishings. Bath had a bit of mould around the bathtub. Cannot fault the staff or service. The food was also good with a good range.

Classic hotel with very outdated issues. Not worth the price and 4/5 star classification

The hotel is beautiful and the employees are great. However, the old walls allow for no insulation from noise. My fiance and I spent two sleepless nights listening to every footstep as well as the snoring from the neighboring room. We had a junior suite that had great size but what is the point if you want to avoid the hotel all together due to zero common amenities. We did a two week road trip staying in the best hotels Switzerland had to offer with our only negative being our stay at the St. Georges. We have never written a negative review but with the price paid for as well as the classification, we are very disappointed with the hotel experience.

Noisy and dark, the lamps were shaking when people moving around and there were few electrical outlets. Can not sleep well. Not enough elevator!

The hotel is very old and in desperate need of updates. Everyone that worked there were very nice. However, they are completely understaffed. No one was able to help with bags etc. one tiny elevator that cannot handle luggage and people. Wait staff also bartend so difficulty for them to keep up with the demand. Rooms were clean but needed a lot of maintenance

The family room was separate from the main building, like a makeshift container. The room was not made up until 430pm stating low staff. Breakfast was poor too. I will not recommend anyone to stay here.

The staff at the reception and restaurant were extremely professional & very courteous. We got a room in the old building with a great view. The breakfast was excellent. However, the bathroom had no lock, the wifi was terrible and the TV channels were getting scrambled. Besides this, the stay was pleasant.
