The ongoing work for the train line didn’t impact our stay that much. Yes, you could hear the work at night, but the aircon mostly covered it. The fridge could be colder. The aircon needs explaining. We just pressed random buttons til we got it. Reception weren’t aware of how to use the aircon. Thought there was an on/off switch!! Ha ha! Clean coffee cups everyday would be appreciated, but leaving them in the bathroom did the trick- then they got replaced. Bedside light was not working g properly, had to position the cord in exactly the right place to get it to stop flicking and work! ha ha! Besides all those little things my stay was really great. It’s a great location and easy to get to cafes, shops and Central train station to go to the Brisbane International Tennis and airport. Easy walk to the river and the story bridge. Have stayed here 3 years in a row at this time, and it’s always great. Thank you.

The staff were lovely but the room was not. Didn’t look as it had been deep cleaned in a long while and the aircon was rubbish after a 30 degree day. Even in the lowest setting the room was uncomfortably warm which meant very little sleep.
