Nice hotel in a great location

We stayed in a king room overlooking the mountains. We did not get a upgrade as a platinum member which did not bother us that much breakfast was okay. Nothing special we didn’t have dinner at the hotel. Swimming pool area was okay but the downside is there is no shade in the Australian Sun which made it unbearable to sit around the pool and enjoy it. The pool itself was nice. Looks like a bit of renovations on the way but without the umbrellas and shade it’s impossible to sit around the pool without getting burnt rooms were very nice nearly decor bathroom very big bed was comfortable.

Great hotel with great facilities and give grande New York vibes in the tropics especially at Christmas. Hotel has great service although short staffed they still provided excellent service. Would be great if the pool bar had longer hours and room service menu could use a tweak or two.
