Overall good service, especiually from Paul in the reteraunt... no recognition of being a Diamond on check in... half bottle of wine...not even a bottle any more...and the wrong colour... whats the point of getting us to fiull in our preferences if its ignored!!! had to ring down fgor amenities... water.... nothing else... i remember when this hotel provided fruit, choclates etc... times must be tight...

On arrival, welcome card had wrong name on it, coffee table sticky with spill drinks. Day two, tried to ring guest services but phones didn't work, as left with no towels, face cloth, bathmat or hand towel, no coffee. Day four, ordered toast and a coffee took one hour to arrive via room service, when it arrived, I asked where the mushrooms were also ordered they arrived twenty minutes later, (I would have cancelled these if the phone worked) also, day four left with just one towel, when room clearly had two staying. We had a not so friendly cockroach, which we tried many times to kill, but couldn't seem to catch it. (no, we didn't say anything, as we didn't hold any hold that something would have been done) I travel a lot, and have never had such poor service, I will not return

Appreciated the room upgrade to reflect Platinum Accor status and the complimentary canapes late afternoon. Room was very soundproof, even between the bathroom and the rest of the room. Curtains very functional in situation which faced west over the nice park view in 40 degrees heat. Quality hotel. Breakfast fabulous. Pool wonderfully refreshing with good seating to enjoy the fresh air and view on rooftop. only area needing improvement is the room cleaning. there was a large greasy smudge on the mirrored wardrobe door and the coffee table looked had piles of marks and looked like it had not been wiped.
