Rooms are well equipped and designed , location is excellent . The only defect is that you should help your self while dealing with your luggage in & out your room , which is difficult to the seniors

As part of the ibis brand standards, we do not provide bell service, but we completely understand how this can be challenging, especially for senior guests. We apologise that this was not communicated clearly to you prior to arrival. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, but the service fell short of expectations. Due to heavy congestion on the main road in front of the hotel, we were unsure of the correct entrance and accidentally entered through the exit route. We asked the valet staff if they could allow us through—since there were no cars passing at that moment—but our request was declined. Instead, we were instructed to reverse and rejoin the main road to enter properly, which took us an additional 15–20 minutes. It became even more frustrating because we had travelled a long distance from home, dealing with traffic congestion and heavy rain along the way. When we finally saw the hotel building, we felt relieved, thinking we could at last get our much-needed rest. So receiving that kind of treatment at the entrance added to our frustration and tiredness. Breakfast offered a good variety, though the taste was only moderate to our liking. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Regarding the entrance situation, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused, especially after a long journey in heavy rain. Our security and valet team follow a strict one-way traffic flow for the safety of all guests and vehicles, which unfortunately means they are unable to permit entry through the exit lane even when the road appears clear. We understand how this added to your frustration, and we truly appreciate your understanding of the safety procedures in place. We are also concerned to hear about the confusion during the email and phone booking process, as well as the tone you experienced when your call was transferred. This is not the level of service we aim to deliver. Your feedback has been shared with our Front Office and Sales teams for immediate follow-up and coaching to ensure clearer communication and more courteous interactions moving forward. I really enjoyed my stay at the Ibis KLCC hotel. The hotel was well-located within the city, with all the amenities one could ask for. The hotel staff were super kind and obliging - always willing to help! My room was pretty clean - I just wish it could have gotten better air circulation as the hotel room could get stuffy at times. It was very clean but the cleaning staff missed a few spots - in particular the window as well as the small table housing the cups. Also sometimes there would be busy periods where there were lineups outside of the elevators which was annoying. Other than that I had the perfect stay and I would absolutely return to this hotel the next time that I'm in KL!
