The location surroundings are very peaceful and it's a good getaway. The bathroom was comfortable and clean. However, the overall room experience was average - there was no bottled water provided, no kettle to boil warm water, the air conditioning temperature was erratic. I woke up covered in sweat one night. Food served at the bistro was good, though I was disappointed that there's no change in breakfast buffet menu.

My room was up 33 stairs. Woke up at five am to take medication but the taps were dry. The tv wouldn’t turn on. I rang reception and they were so nice and changed my room. So I thank them for making the rest of my stay very enjoyable. A special mention to Bella in the restaurant. She was so nice to us. Loved the golf course. Very challenging. It’s a great location

Once again we have enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Room is comfortable with a large bathroom and well appointed. The staff were helpful and a central location for touring. It was an advantage being in a room where a lift was available.

We have stayed before and will stay again. The golf course is challenging but playable and always in great shape. The hotel rooms are spacious and well equipped. And the restaurant excellent for dinner. But this time we had a family issue when we booked and the resort understood and moved our dates, golf and dinner with great customer service. Thank you.

I am unhappy with being overcharged for my meals. At checkout, I told the male staff member that I wanted to pay for the previous day's Continental Breakfast which, due to your system outage, could not be taken from my card. The male staff member said: (1) "We don't do Continental Breakfast" - his female colleague at Reception corrected him. I also told him your company did. (2) He said that his screen was showing a debit to me of $33. I told him the cost which I had paid on my first and third mornings was $20. (3) He said he would "do a pricing" - which I found to be very arrogant - and he would phone me on my mobile before he took his "pricing" from my Amex card. Your make staff member DID NOT phone me; and he deducted $60.78 from my Amex card. I had to phone your Reception from Canberra and correct this stuff up with a female staff member, who said my Amex card would be refunded $20.87. I have all the documentation if you want to see it. I am totally unimpressed with the dreadful lack of customer service from your male Reception staff member and his pettiness.

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years, it really needs some polishing and the staff were run off their feet!. Not sure if something has changed however the lack of room servicing is not justified considering the cost per night

I stayed on a Monday night and then the Friday due to work travel and both times I was greeted with lovely service. The atmosphere is like being at home and the staff, including the housekeeping team were all friendly. On the Friday night I ordered room service and the food was delivered in 20 mins and was superb. I will stay here again for certain and will recommend.

Very tired room mould in bathroom ,hard bed stained carpet or marks from trying to remove Air Conditioning didn’t work on cool or heat. & was very noisy. Breakfast was very basic

We had a great overall stay at Mercure Kooindah Waters. The resort is in a beautiful and peaceful location, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Spent the weekend at Mercure Kooindah Waters and it was exactly the reset we needed. The apartment was spacious, clean and well set up plenty of room to spread out, and much better value than a standard hotel room. Waking up to the golf course and gum trees out the window was a highlight. The grounds are beautifully kept and it’s genuinely quiet, which is hard to find. The pool area was lovely, and staff at reception were warm and helpful from check-in through to checkout nothing felt like a hassle. Location works well too: far enough from Sydney to feel like a proper getaway, close enough for an easy drive

Very comfortable room. Golf view room, spacious, clean and comfortable with nice view over ninth green. The only disappointment was the quality of pastries at breakfast which were not up to the high standards of this hotel. They were not fresh and well beyond their best before date. This was mentioned to hotel staff as we were leaving breakfast at the time for the benefit of the hotel and other guests.
