Nice hotel, big beds, small bathroom.

We stayed as we were going to one of the Christmas parties with a group of friends. The downstairs reception areas bar etc were lovely clean and well looked after. Very modern. Unfortunately the room wasn’t as nice, our bathroom has broken tiles from water damage and being held together by masking tape, the bedroom needed a lick of paint and upgrading due to drink staines up the wall. The carpet was sticky. Bed was very comfy though which saved the room. The corridors when we checked in were littered with empty dirty glasses etc that still hadn’t been cleared when we when down at 7pm for the party, just made it smell of booze. Staff very friendly, rooms and pool area just need updating.

had a 1 night stay in room 211. Was interrupted twice during the afternoon coming to the bedroom door saying I had been down and asked to move room, I hadn't. But maybe I should have moved room as the radiator would not turn down the thermostatic valve broken so the room was so hot. And the shower was unusable as far too hot would scold your skin, did not matter which way you turned the dial it was only hot! I had asked for early check in and late check out but I did not use these but was still charged so be warned check before you leave. I did contact the hotel and they have now refunded this, but no compensation for the interruption's, heating too hot or the unusable shower. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, a great selection.
