In need of TLC

Seriously grotty room. Dirty carpet chipped furniture and mould and broken tiles in the bathroom. And no chair of any sort - even though there is a desk! No drawers either. Wi-Fi pretty hopeless in the room. On the plus side the bed was comfortable.

Avoid this hotel!

Avoid here! Rooms shabby, wood chipped off furniture, paint peeling off walls/ bathroom, bathroom black mould around taps/shower, chairs leather peeling off, beds rock hard, in the hotel corridor the was big black bins catching water coming through the roof, rubbish in corridor. Restaurant, terrible service!!! Ordered our drinks, 20 minutes later arrived, asked for some table water never came, ordered our meal, waited a hour still hadn’t arrived asked a waitress where our food was, for her never to return with a update, next asked the restaurant manager where our food was again for him to run into the kitchen never to be seen again. We ended up walking away as we were going to a concert. At breakfast the waitress was speaking very loudly a about a couple in the night before (clearly referring to us) saying we were disrespectful and how could we act like that until she realised it was us and went quiet. Any advice for anyone looking at this hotel, just don’t!

Thanks Emma for taking the time to send us your feedback I am very sorry this has been your experience and certainly is not the usual standard expected by our guests nor what we expect for our guests. This shall be thoroughly investigated and corrected moving forward. Thanks

Spent a few days here for business and the staff were just great. The newly formed conference team were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything ran immensely smoothly. Shuna and his team in the restaurant were also great and couldn't do enough to make sure our group (which was large) were well looked after. Thank you everyone

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback its much appreciated and I am sure Shuna and his team will appreciate the praise. We do hope we can welcome you back again soon. Thanks

The location of this hotel is perfect for a weekend in Manchester. The facilities are great. The breakfast was so good with lots of hot and cold breakfast options. The basic rooms have lots of room to move. I love that! Many thanks for Neil, Rose, Abbie, Elka and Rohini for all their welcoming service. The front desk also were accommodating for a family member who was only here for 1 night. They couldn't do enough to help us. Many thanks. Really. It's so good to know you're being looked after when you plan or have an unplanned visit here.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your lovely review. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay and I shall be sure to let the relevant people know the impact they have had on your stay. I do hope we can welcome you back again soon. Thanks
