We recently stayed at Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai from May 30th to 31st for a very special family trip, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. The bellboys were extremely helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean, showing great attention to detail. While the entire team was amazing, we would like to give a special mention to Khun Night at Rabiang Cha Restaurant. Khun Night took care of us during our dinner and provided exceptional service. Their attentiveness, warmth, and dedication truly elevated our dining experience and made this dinner unforgettable. Thank you, Khun Night, and the entire team, for making our family getaway so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Overall it was a really lovely second stay. This hotel is very tranquilly located at the mountainside which was very relaxing. I also really liked the complimentary activities and transports to the city as well as the restaurants at the resort. The hotel is starting to show its age though, as the room showed lots of wear and tear, e.g. the garden just outside the toilet/bathroom not looking very nice anymore and the woodwork starting to get broken. I was happy to see that the hotel is working on renovating some of the rooms at least and would be looking forward to staying in a renewed one in the future. The fitness centre was adequate, but tbe thread mill seemed to require lubing, which was also mentioned on the piece of paper by other guests sometime earlier. The pool at the top was great with wonderful sights. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the bad exchange rate regarding the 100 USD credit I had. This was changed to 3000 THB, which at the time was about a 7.5% currency loss, which I found rather steep.

This was my second stay here because I had such a great experience the first time and wanted my mother to enjoy it as well. The only — and biggest — disappointment this time was that I could only get the same suite as before by paying extra. The staff explained that during my previous stay I had booked a higher room category, which was why I received a suite upgrade, while this time I booked a base room and they could only upgrade one level. However, I actually booked the same base room category on both stays, and my membership status is even higher now than it was before. Other than that, everything was very good. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
