My overall stay experience was satisfactory, but it could certainly have been better. While the facilities and services met basic expectations, the front desk experience left room for improvement. The reception staff, including the reception manager, appeared quite impersonal during interactions. A warm greeting or even a simple smile would have made guests feel more welcome. Additionally, during check-in, there were situations where one counter became available while guests continued waiting in another queue. Rather than proactively guiding waiting guests to the open counter, the staff seemed to simply observe without providing any direction. The overall response from the reception team felt very mechanical and transactional, lacking the hospitality and customer engagement typically expected from a hotel stay. A more attentive, friendly, and guest-focused approach would significantly enhance the overall customer experience.

Stay was comfortable however king size rooms are very small as compared to price and other hotels like hyatt or ITC. Room was given on 2nd floor where I was expecting a good view on higher floor and called twice in advance

Pleasant stay. Happy with the service. I had to cancel my earlier booking the morning before the trip, which was within the no charge period before 12pm, as my plans were still unsure. Once they were confirmed 100%, I rebooked but ended up paying over INR 2000 more on the same room for the same one night.

Staff great, food mostly good. Please throw out all wooden key cards immediately!!!!!!! Wrecked my sleep...power out continually...TV kept being turned on. When I switched to plastic cards in the morning, everything worked perfectly.

The guy with glasses in the reception, tall guy, when I asked him for a help willntelling whichnexact room i am at, he was saying: “Chutiya Saleh”, thinking I might now understand. Another point are both two girls who are on the same duty with him. Service is horrible. It looks like they are doing the job voluntarily. Going to the manager: I wanted to exchange UAE Dirham (AED), hardly they agreed to change, and then eventually refused to change, and said that they can change only SAR and USD. For the manager, I wanted him to know more about countries currencies, and for the staff to be more professional. Overall Experience: HORRIBLE and DISGUSTING.

I would definitely stay at Novotel again. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The facilities leave nothing to be desired but some fixes are required, such as non functional light switches or plug points and some poorly repaired items. Novotel had acknowledged the need for these fixes already.

My arrival experience was pleasant and my room was allocated promptly. As a Platinum member, I have consistently received a welcome fruit / goodies tray during my previous stays at this property. On this occasion, however, the tray was not provided. Later that evening, I spoke with the Front Desk to check whether there had been any change in policy. The team apologized and mentioned that the amenity had been inadvertently overlooked. As I was heading out, they requested permission to place it in my room during my absence, to which I agreed. When I returned later that evening, the tray had still not been delivered. Given my earlier conversation with the Front Desk, this was somewhat surprising. I subsequently contacted Guest Services and after multiple attempts to reach someone, spoke with a team member who apologized and assured me that the matter would be taken care of. Unfortunately, the amenity was still not delivered. To be clear, my concern is not about the tray itself. Rather, it is about commitments being made and subsequently not being fulfilled. This is not the level of service consistency I have experienced during my previous stays at this property. I am sharing this feedback purely for internal review and training purposes, as I believe it highlights an opportunity to improve communication, follow-through, and guest service delivery.
