The staff were helpful and always happy to do any task requested. The food was lovely and I enjoyed the afternoon teas. Breakfast was well cooked and the variety on display to chose from was wonderful.

Grounds are stunning and well maintained. We loved strolling through the beautiful gardens and smelling the roses and gardenias. The water features were beautiful too. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, even the grounds staff would stop for a chat to welcome us. Room was lovely too, but the bathroom has been designed by someone who doesn't think about travellers requiring to live out of a washbag! No bench space beside free standing sinks and mirror without a shelf and there was barely any space to put even a toothbrush brush. The only bench is behind the bathtub which, as a shorter person, I couldn't reach over! I ended up putting the ironing board up inside the bath to rest my washbag on but this was a very inconvenient aspect of what was an otherwise beautiful area!
