The staff were all welcoming and very friendly - though Basildene is stunning it would make for a better experience if there was an area where you could sit and have a drink and also maybe heat something up or cook a piece of toast we had the studio apartment and there was nowhere to just sit

This stay was very special for us, as we got married in the garden on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon with a simple yet elegant elopement ceremony. The staff were all so accomodating and made our stay just delightful. We would highly recommend Basildene to any and all as a beautiful pocket of the South W. that you can stay and not feel the need to leave. We will be coming back to this special place again and again, and the hot scones upon checking out definitely helps with that!
