we were very disappointed with the restaurant food the standard was not as we have experienced prior stays. The food was cold and no choice of salad or vegetables and served in a soup bowl type of dish which maybe trendy but not practical to eat with a knife and fork. The breakfast sour dough bread was not easy to slice and the bread knife was blunt and this was complained to the chief but was not rectified. Beside there was not bread and had to request loaf be brought out which took at least 15 minutes and thus spoilt our breakfast experience. the staff are very pleasant and helpful

Lovely room ,plenty of hot water . Swimming pool ok .staff very friendly and helpful . Breakfast OK . Restaurany for dinner, food is also ok but service very slow we have stayed at bunker bay 4 or 5 times and will be back again .

Some of the staff are rude, and this makes you feel like you should not be staying there. On one occasion I asked for a tea and said I was out by the pool. After 20 minutes I went back in, and it had been forgotten about. I went back outside and when it arrived there was no milk that I had requested. The chap told me to follow him inside and he would give me some. I did this then waited a further 10 minutes whilst he disappeared. On going outside with my milk I noticed no teaspoon, I asked for one and waited another ten minutes, and he was not happy at all. On a second occasion, different day, we ordered drinks at the bar, and these did not arrive until I went to the bar to remind the person we had ordered. They apologised and made the drinks for us. Very poor service.

Dear Guest Relations Team, We are writing to formally raise concerns regarding our recent stay at Bunker Bay. We have stayed at the property numerous times over the years and have always considered it a special place. We love the location and have returned often, including last year with our children and grandchildren. We also currently have a booking for November. In addition, we are long-standing and loyal Accor guests. My husband is an Accor Gold member and has remained very loyal to the group, including during our international travels. As such, we do hold certain expectations. Unfortunately, this recent weekend stay left us quite disappointed. At breakfast, there were delays in plates being available, butter was sometimes unavailable, and food was not replenished promptly. Overall, the service felt slower than expected. Housekeeping was also not to the standard we have experienced previously. Items were left out, coffee supplies were not replenished, and the blanket we had used was left crumpled and set aside. However, the most concerning issue was the in-room telephone. My mother is very frail and, because the property is hilly, has difficulty moving around. We were advised to call reception whenever we needed the service trolley, but the phone line was continually engaged, and the other listed numbers did not connect. Eventually, my husband had to go to reception in person. We were told this was due to an internet problem, but we do not feel this is an acceptable reason when the telephone may be needed for safety or in a medical emergency. Had my mother fallen or experienced chest pain, for example, being unable to contact staff could have had serious consequences. We have photos documenting some of the housekeeping issues and would be happy to provide them. We genuinely love Bunker Bay and have chosen to return many times because of the location and overall experience. However, we would like to see these matters addressed and remedied.

We had a pleasant stay at the Pullman; however, we were a little disappointed with several aspects of our experience compared to other Pullman hotels where we stayed in the past. We had a studio near the lake, and unfortunately the decking was not very clean, with spider webs and bird droppings. The restaurant was also disappointing. The dishes were served too cold — my fish was barely warm and the carrots were hardly blanched. Breakfast was another disappointment, as there were no cups left to make coffee, no more pastries, and the toasters were not working. The rooms could also do with a little refreshing, as they are starting to show their age. For example, the toilet flush had started to leak slightly. However, we would like to mention that the staff were absolutely charming, kind and attentive throughout our stay. The setting is also truly idyllic, which made our stay very enjoyable despite these issues. Overall, we enjoyed our time at the Pullman, but we feel that some aspects could be improved to make the experience live up to the beautiful setting and the standard we expected.

We had a lovely 3 days. However we felt that the resort lacked polish, was understaffed and under resourced.

This was our third year staying here and we enjoyed it again. It was very comfortable and quiet. The room was spacious and apart from the low water pressure in the shower everything was perfect. Breakfast was very good, the staff were constantly refilling the buffet and clearing tables. Dinner was enjoyable too, only complaint would be the table lighting was a bit too dim to see the menu and food! I’m sure we will be back next year!

The service was inconsistent. Nice people at check in there was no help offered with bags but we could see some people has assistance. In the restaurant food was fine dining price but came out cold and simple egg orderd for breakfast came out wrong even when the order was clarified before going in anf the issue the day before discussed. We booked the sauna for 4pm and there was no one to greeet us despite asking us to arrive early. A guy came in at 4.05pm and set it up. He said he would bring water and never did. Very poor service and experience for a resort level spa.

Everything down to the staff was such an incredible experience and holiday. Views are beautiful, facilities fabulous and the whales jumping from the deck was just a dream! Will always come back 🤍 10/10

Came for conference that had meal voucher. It was very inconvenient to use the meal voucher. I was told it had to be charged to the room and couldn't be paid on the day at the restaurant. Then on check out when I enquired for the charge, I was told that the bill was already settled. Subsequently the hotel emailed me and told me there was a mistake and to pay outstanding bill after I've already left Bunker Bay. I would have preferred to just settle the bill on the day with the restaurant.

Lovely garden setting & friendly staff. Great buffet breakfast. Delicious! Not many options on dinner menu. We only ate dinner there twice out of our 5 night stay as only 1 restaurant. We received an upgrade to a larger room which was wonderful. The only negative was how hard the mattress was on the bed. Ouch! Vie Day spa was great/the staff were super & we were very relaxed at the end. Overall great stay & nice location-we would stay again, but maybe bring our own mattress (:-))

Stayed in villa 418. Main bedroom door wouldn't close - maintenance attended and changed the handle but the door still wouldn't close as they said it would need to be sanded down as didn't fit in the frame. Fridge not working so all our fridge/freezer food went warm and had to throw it out - maintenance attended and had to reset something to get it working again. Bath handle for opening/closing the plug would fall off when running a bath. The TV in main bedroom didn't have many channels working and no ability to stream from device. The phone in the main area wasn't working to call reception. The locking mechanism on the front gate into the courtyard was broken off. The unit felt like it hadn't been maintained recently which was a bit disappointing given the location of the resort is lovely for a weekend away.

Amazing spot conveniently located near Dunsborough and the gateway to the Margaret River region. Very friendly staff and service. Our room was in need of a 'freshen up' and tiles could do with a good clean and regrouting but all was forgotten when watching whales frolicking in the ocean while enjoying a welcome drink from the restaurant and pool deck. Nice touches like the chilled and sparkling water dispenser were appreciated. Would recommend.
