We enjoyed the 5 star resort Immensely. It was very private. The room was well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable . The bathroom was spacious with a great shower . I feel the bathroom lighting could be improved as the ceiling lights were very small in a very high ceiling . Also a wall mounted magnifying glass would be a great addition . It was also nice to have the outside table and seating .

Love bunker bay. Been coming for the last 12 or so years. Unfortunately the resort does not look like it has been refreshed since it opened. Very tired. Bordering on daggy. The couches in the room had an odour. The service in the restaurant struggled. Difficult to get service, menus or to place orders. With an injection of cash it could be great again.

Since I have been managing the resort we have completed a number of projects such as new resort lighting, Smart LED TV's, Bluetooth clock radios, rain shower heads and a refurbishment to the pool area. Projects unfolding include new bathroom blinds, re-upholstering to the lounges and cabinetry in the kitchen. Over all very good wedding day was amazing Donna did a fantastic job of organizing everything , food was amazing as a venue for a wedding couldn't fault the place. BUT I think in general the rooms need a bit of a revamp , bathrooms are great but the living area is in my opinion tired , kitchen doors chipped furniture stained etc we did get a cheaper price as part of the wedding party but it was still $465 a night for 2 bed and $310 for one bed which is still I think pretty expensive.

We had a one night stay for my sisters birthday on 15 February 2020. We were located in room 202. The room was cleaned and looked fairly well maintained. The bathroom was tidy and well prepared. Unfortunately and unbeknownst to us, a wedding was also being held there which blasted loud thumping music until 11:30pm. This was really upsetting as we had only booked the one night stay and were extremely disappointed we were not informed about this when making the booking. We certainly would have made alternate arrangements. The following morning, I ordered an omelette for breakfast with the hostess. My husband then bit into a broken piece of metal which cut into his cheek. We immediately informed the assistant chef and hostess and gave them the metal. The hostess returned to us around 20 minutes later and informed us that the metal was from a cooking utensil which had broken off and lodged in the food. We were provided with a complimentary coffee which my husband could not consume as his inner cheek was still bleeding. My omelette also never arrived. I was extremely upset about what occurred at breakfast and the failure of the staff or manager to even reach out to apologise. We did not want to cause a scene or any issues, however, the way it was managed was extremely poor. I approached the front desk intending to speak with the manager who was busy. The assistant manager was informed of these issues and offered us another nights stay, but at the cost of $110.00. I informed her I had not managed much sleep due to the wedding music not being turned down until 11:30pm, (sleep-in's aren't an option for us just yet as we were travelling with our very young son who was awake at 5:30am). It was a really unfortunate experience. The staff are mostly polite and considerate however this could have been handled more appropriately, including contact being made by the resort manager to apologise. Please feel free to call or email me should you have any further questions.

Dear Sarah Thank you so much for bringing these matters to my attention. I was actually away travelling interstate at the time you were staying with us and have only just returned. I attempted to call yesterday but did not get through to the mobile number that we have on file which I believe may be your husbands. How is your husband? This particular matter experienced was of course very disappointing to hear. It seems that it may have been caused by a part of a stainless steel wool which would have been used for cleaning the omelette frying pan and thus coming away when cooking. We do not subscribe to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and critical Control Points) but adopt Australian Best Practices within our Food Safety Program; of which the use of stainless steel wool is not permitted to being in use. If our internal investigations conclude that indeed it was this, we will take the necessary action to prevent recurrence and coach all kitchen personnel on our Program once again. Being a destination property we are frequently used for leisure and business events, however our internal controls and processes should be well versed on preventing other guests whom are not part of such groups from being adversely affected from the activities being facilitated. This usually includes but not limited to, communication pre-stay, suitable villa allocations, timings on music etc. As you had reserved the day prior to arriving, our reservations team should have advised of the event occurring as we had emailed and communicated to existing and new reservations the week before so guests were made aware. I acknowledge that whilst our Manager on Duty had provided the option for the discounted 2nd night that the experiences listed above already been had. The hostess you speak of was the Breakfast Supervisor and due to the absence of the Director of Food & Beverage the reason behind speaking to just Fiona. I will however further coach both of these team members to react and respond more responsibly as I do agree with you from your email below that it did not sound as if these matters were well responded to. Sarah, as a gesture of goodwill towards these matters raised, I have arranged for your accommodation of $387.75 from the night of the 15th to be refunded back to you Visa credit card ending in 1170 today. Please do relay to your husband of my apologies also for this experience taken away whilst being guests of ours. Warm regards, Leighton Yates General Manager

A wedding was booked the same nights as or stay. If Pullman had informed me in advance I would have rescheduled the stay. Difficult to get kids to sleep with the noise, put us off.

Special break for our Silver wedding anniversary. Staff gave us a card and bottle of champagne even housekeeping arranged towel swans.It was lovely surprise. What impressed us the most was how happy and friendly all the staff were.The only negative is from my wife is The Bistro menu needs a few more no meat dishes.We had excellent meal at Other side of the moon delicious. A lovely trip and only a few hours away we will be back.

All amenities were excellent, presentation was good, the location was fantastic. Only problem we had was that dinner service was a bit slack in both restaurants throughout the stay. We waited about 40 minutes for first service having to remind the staff we were there. Breakfast was very generous, the steak was perfectly cooked and the martinis were excellent.

We were in the area to attend a wedding so we did not get to spend as much time at the resort as we would have liked, but the accommodations were very comfortable and the staff were helpful. We appreciated the personal note and bottle of wine left for us in our room upon check-in. The beach access was very convenient. Everything was great!

It was such a lovely stay although they don’t seem to take into consideration other guests when they have a wedding. We arrived on Friday and there was a wedding that afternoon- it wasn’t too bad noise wise but the Saturday we had the wedding ceremony set up close to us and for some odd reason the celebrant had a microphone and with all our doors closed we heard everything. It was far from peaceful,. Then they partied and screamed and yelled all night at their reception . I was fed up at midnight and was about to call reception and it stopped. For the first 2 days we felt like we were in a camping ground at Xmas. Incredibly noisy. After that it was beautiful and peaceful.

The accommodation was excellent. The service around our meeting requirements less so.

The venue and site amenities are excellent and well suited to our needs. Staff were friendly. However, our experience with the support of our meeting was less than we expected based on past experience. We needed to remind staff each time we were due for a break to ensure tea , coffee orders were taken, water refreshed and the room ready. Our staff member with food allergies was not well catered for despite the booking form being clear and staff admitting they knew about her needs.

On arrival we were made to feel very welcome, our room wasn’t ready however without any prompting we were automatically upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. All staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and polite and I from some observations I commend them on how they deal with some of your more demanding clients.My best experience by far in an Australian hotel/resort and my faith is renewed in The Australian hospitality industry . I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay, I love the area and two days just isn’t long enough.
