Beautiful location, lovely staff but need to make an effort to get the resort back to the standard it was precovid. Rooms are not cleaned properly for a 5 star resort. Bird poo everywhere on balcony and windows and fly screen were filthy. Lake is virtually empty and should be the same cost as garden view at the moment.

Wonderful. Comfy beds, beautiful cabins, so clean, peaceful and beautifully positioned for taking advantage of the area. Friendly staff too. I would have given this hotel a ten if i had been able to have coffee with breakfast, but unfortunately too many people were unable to work the coffee machine out and the queue was not worth it. Hot filter coffee ready for pouring would have been great. Small gripe though and i would very definitely stay again and not hesitate to recommend to friends or family.

Stayed for the week at Pullman Bunker Bay, we were amazed by the hospitality of their staff, our special gratitude to Brooke the Assistant Manager who patiently answered all questions (by phone) before we even decided to make a booking. Brooke also helped me with the booking and Brooke and team upgraded our room when they found out that this holiday is a special event and making sure we got room with washing machine + dryers, and prepared the Welcome Surprised treat! My husband arranged this holiday to celebrate my birthday and this is our last holiday in Australia as a couple (parents) because in the next couple of months-we will be Grandparents and would most probably holiday with family more. The resort was luxurious and had all the 5 star amenities, friendly and professional staff, beautiful view, it has its own beach and big heated outdoor swimming pool. Access to villas from the carpark is easily arranged as they have plenty golf buggy car to get people and luggage from the car park to the villas. We are amazed with our room upgrade and grateful that we got a full kitchen with stove and oven to cater hubby with his special diet.

We were contacted by Whatsup message and asked out check in time and I replied with 1400 hrs. I didn't receive a reply to this response. We arrived at 1410 hrs and were told 10-15 mins We waiting and waited . We were siting right in front of reception staff and didn't ask us is we even wanted a glass of water. My husband has huntington's disease and we desperately needed to get in the room so he could rest. All other customers were assigned rooms . I tried to get the attention of staff to get a glass so we could get a self serve water but instead the reception staff 'huffed off' and then unceremoniously dumped glasses by the water without giving us one. There was lots of hospitality staff wandering around the restaurant and they too ignored us. Eventually the keys to our room were dumped on us and again no apology. We were told to wait outside for the golf cart for a couple of mins another ten went by. Eventually it was after 3pm when we got to our room. Staff as a whole seemed disinterested and I feel it let the place down as it is a beautiful location. Could be Covid staff shortages were to blame but for us it was a treat to stay and we never normally would pay that sort of room rate . We have had better service at accommodation with a third of the price.

Stayed a few times over the years and this was as good as ever even under the circumstances of COVID and shortage of staff. They all were flat out but were doing their best to provide great service. Unfortunately, due to the lack of staff the restaurant was under manned and they were not taking walk in bookings -luckily we have pore-booked dinner which was great. We also had to leave a night early and had to cancel our last night after 2PM and check out early due to our daughter being very sick back at home. The manager did not charge us the cancelled night which was a pleasant surprise even though we didn't ask and didn't expect this. Would recommend to anyone to stay here - but book the restaurant ahead of time if you want to eat here as quite a few hotel guests were turned away on the night. Hopefully the world and staff shortages across the industry will normalise soon.

Unfortunately executing the basics is still difficult for the Pullman Bunker Bay. We had a bad experience last visit and thought this time they would ensure everything was perfect from the start but again a fail. Reservations called me five days before check in to confirm room configuration then check us in to something totally different. Even more disappointing is the GM was aware of my last experience and my travel plans during this recent visit, no attention to detail at all. The staff on the ground are great and helpful, they make the stay worthwhile.

Bed too low and mattress even though new one was supplied it is not a good mattress We want a bed as good as we have at home or better but as bad as hotel . We love staying there but the big spoiler is the food ….. breskfast eggs ie scrsmbled and omelets very poor …. Its a basic …. A 5 star should be able to do it …. Lot of the other items there are tasteless Rather reduce the spread and make better and tastier food ie mushrooms snd baked beans are horrible just looking at it …. Get traditional baked beans Food for dinner was pathetic . We thought we d have dinner there on wednesday to give it a go , but the chef hasnt got a clue how to cook a steak and his sauce was very bad tasting …. To eat at otherside of moon is a gamble to get it right We left a day early because the whole stay didnt make us happy Food is your biggest problem Go the kate lamont and pay her to have your chefs cook better .. we like to eat there .. its like chalk snd cheese Staff serving are good problem in kitchen snd befroom mattress

The location and accommodation is outstanding. All staff were very helpful. However the dinner menu was limited and could have easily been extended in variety. Better choice here. Breakfast had an incredible choice.

Room a bit tired. Frustrating that battery issues with door mechanism was not attended to in a more proactive fashion.
