The Pullman is position in an amazing area with just a short stroll to the beach. It also has access to some great walks where we were able to see both whales and dolphins swimming. The restaurant provides a great breakfast and dinner menu. Pool area was awesome. The only downfall for me was the room that we were placed in which was 609 which basically overlooked weeds in the water at the end of a man-made small lake that housed hundreds of frogs croaking all night making it very difficult to fall asleep. Prior warning with option to move would have been greatly appreciated.

Gorgeous beach and amazing view of the ocean from the lobby, restaurant and pool area. Restaurant overall look and experience a bit disappointing. Did not feel like 5 star. Upper level of the restaurant looked more like a cafeteria. Villa was spacious and comfortable but decor looked a bit dated. More 4 star than 5 star

Well located but tired and overpriced

The Pullman charges high end prices for sub par accomodation. My partner and I stayed at the Pullman recently for 3 nights. The room was clean however overall fairly tired and in need of a renovation - the bath was leaking, large paint chips on the walls, we had empty light globes left on top of the shower wall that clearly had forgotten to be removed. We also had a, what sounded like a possum, in our roof cavity which kept us up most nights. The possum even dislodged a ceiling light from its socket on the first night of our stay. We told the lady at the front desk about this and she just laughed it off as though is a general occurrence - I may be wrong but sure a possum may run across a roof every now and then but to have it in the ceiling cavity and constantly making a noise is not normal. Another small thing, if you have a bath, you’d expect when you’re paying circa $500/night the bathroom would have either bath salts or bubble bath so you could make the most of it rather than pouring (low quality) shampoo into the bath. We had a drink on the first night and sat out in the outside area. There were more tables with left over food and plates left on them than cleared ones (ie there were in excess of 9 tables with uncleared dishes on them). I understand that you may be understaffed however the fact that bar staff would come out and clear the glasses off these tables but would leave plates with food is just lazy. The left over food was attracting seagulls constantly which was just unacceptable and frankly disgusting.

Dear Sophie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short.
