the rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We still however have an issue with Breakfast. Which we went through in August when we visited. My wife is Gluten and dairy intolerant. We suggested they have coconut yogurt but still don't and we had to bring our own in. The bread was plain white Gluten free when there are better options these days. We then went and bought our own bread and brought that in as well. So there is still room for improvement in this area. But thank you for the chef for offering some nice options. The pancakes were beautiful. The waitresses were very good especially I think it was Niki in the mornings. The older lady working in the bottom area of the restaurant in the mornings she was excellent. But overall pretty good just need to get a Dairy free Yogurt and better gluten free bread selection please. Which I know are all possible so we don't have to bring in our own. I think the Restaurant manager was embarrassed by that as he asked us to bring it in a bag once we started bring it in. Kind regards Greg W.

the lake view room I had booked was dirty and disheveled. the bathroom floor was not clean the grout between the tiles was black or brown in most places. the underneath of the old dated dirty mattress base had the underneath of it hanging down about 6 to 8 inches all over the place. pieces of the foam had also fallen on the floor. It looked like a mattress base from a hostel not a so called 5 star hotel.. I complained and was shown another room even the manager pointed out the same problem. I said I wasn't willing to stay in a room like that. I was paying over $600 a night. I was furious and could not believe it. I had planned my holiday taken days to pack for it and had to drive all the way back to Perth leaving Dunsborough at 7pm after being unable to secure other accommodation at such late notice .. I still haven't let it go I feel so upset about it all. The manager was apologetic and told me I would be refunded. So much effort and expectation on my part only to be left distressed, anxious, upset, and exhausted

I have since taken the opportunity to coach our Executive Housekeeper on the deficiencies that you had seen so that we are preventing recurrence. I can confirm that on the 19th January the refund was indeed processed. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problems raised to prevent future occurrence and I am very sorry that no option was provided to accommodate you as a guest of ours with no rate being payable, to assist you in not having to drive back to Perth again. A few issues

Room wasn't ready until 4.30pm (check in is 3pm I believe). Fridge didn't work in room, was replaced but the fridge didn't fit in the cavity so it was placed in the corner of the living room outside a bedroom. The new fridge worked, but was VERY noisy. Food was spoilt and I got told I would be compensated for this - but I had to ask for it. Lock in main bedroom door didn't work. Gate into villa was also broken, and banged in the wind at night. Possums (we saw about 5 each night in the porch area) were living in our roof which made for a noisy night. Flies were a nightmare - not sure why the resort doesn't fog the area like they do in Asia to assist with the problem. Not enough pool lounges - we never got a lounge each afternoon we went to the pool (which was unpleasant anyway due to the flies). Youngest child stepped on a sliver of glass on the walk from the pool back to our villa. Older lady on the front desk was very arrogant and rude. I had her on check-in and checkout. She seems shocked when I told her about the fridge etc (almost like I was lying). Was also aggressive on check-in when I took time to read the COVID questionnaire (as i didn't have my glasses on!) she started saying "is there a problem?" and when I laughed and explained I didn't have my glasses on and was trying to read it, she didn't see the funny side. Staff and good in restaurant good (other than a fellow with long hair and a ponytail who was on in the mornings who was very nice but HOPELESS! Forgot everything you ordered/asked for. Room rate wasn't explained to us on check in - I got told that we received a 10% discount on hotel F&B but then the arrogant older lady told me on checkout it didn't apply to in-room dining (was not advised on checkin - we could have gone to the restaurant as I had a booking that was cancelled as my daughter's foot was sore - from the glass!). Won't be rushing back.

We stayed at Pullman Bunker Bay in January 2021. Our experience of the staff was that they were extremely polite and accomodating. The location is in a beautiful part of the world and perfect for a couple's getaway. Whilst every staff member we encountered was friendly (cleaners always greeting us as they went past, concierge staff very warm to welcome us even though this was at 10:45pm) the resort was clearly understaffed - housekeeping was late / sporadic and service staff were very busy, at times there were longer wait times for food or services because of this. Our experience was that there was a fair bit of dust around our room and common areas, but otherwise the facilities were great.

Friendly Staff, no worries. But for us, unless you are satisfied with the facilities, you ARE isolated. Around the pool is not much seating - compared to European pools. The menu was not to out tastes, and there no food deliveries available. Great roomy accommodation, nice to have an outdoors sitting area. In the kitchenette a notable missing piece was a cutting board.

The Pullman Bunker Bay resort is located in a picturesque part of the South West. The location is ideal for visiting nearby tourist spots but also for the fantastic ocean views from the hotel restaurant. The rooms are well laid out, clean and have all the amenities you would need. The service by the waitstaff at the restaurant is also excellent. We enjoyed spending our honeymoon at this resort and will definitely be coming back.

Overall experience was pretty good as in the look of the resort and location, other then that before we got there, I got told that I can book in a massage when I get to the resort, but then got told its fully booked, so I was very disappointed there. some of the staff members weren't very professional and friendly, even though its a 5 star resort and I am paying $600 a night.

We recently stayed down at the Pullman bunker bay and had a great stay apart from a few minor hiccups on checkin. We checked in and everything was going well, handed our welcome envelope and headed to our room. Upon arrival at the door of our room (walking a few hundred metres) , we opened the envelope to realise we were not handed our room keys. We then walked back to reception and spoke to a different concierge and the situation was rectified Another hiccup was booking the restaurant for that nights dinner also on checking in. We were handed a time 5:45pm for dinner and apparently this was confirmed. However upon arrival at the restaurant for dinner, they had no recollection or record of our booking and reservation. This was the first night of our honeymoon so not a great first impression.
