ibis budget Dresden City 1 star

We had lovely time my friend and I. The room was very good,spacious and very clean. Staff were very professional Thanks and I hope I can get there soon for my next trip to Dresden.

Dresden has very expensive hotels, and this one is the cheapest in the center, but still expensive.

So glad I chose this hotel. Perfect location for exploring Dresden and at an affordable price. Very comfortable room and excellent buffet breakfast.

Hotel provided a cheap base for a long stay in Dresden. Walking distance of most sights. Very good tram connections nearby. Short walk to the main station. Good quality car parking in Q parks close by.

The hotel is located in central Dresden, easily accessible by trams. At first I had a bit of trouble finding it with Google maps, the signage in the shopping centre building isn't very prominent and the lobby is in the second floor. The hotel altogether is good ibis budget quality, no non-sense basic experience with shower in room and one bed, just what I expect from ibis budget.

A clean room awaited with all I could have needed with the exception of a safe. Rooms were sensitively serviced on a daily basis.

My first ever stay at a property rated 1* and I was pleasantly surprised.

City tax was added in my bill, even though I was a local business traveller. Now my office has to deal with the complex problem of tax Claim. Why this process is not streamlined

Positives: the hotel is new, my room was very quiet although quite a long walk to the reception and the breakfast area, I found convenient to have a code instead of a key to enter the room. Also, the breakfast was very nice. Negative: the shower is in the room and offers very little privacy, for a solo traveller is fine but my room was for two people, 10 euro deposit for a hairdryer is too much.

I was in the hotel for 1 day/night with family, have booked 2 rooms and for whole time , there was no warm water which is very basic thing any guest expect. For me It was really worst experience i got in my whole life time of staying any hotel. I would not book it ibis anymore and will not even recommend any friends / colleagues or anybody.

We stayed in Dresden for two days. We wanted central location, comfortable beds and good breakfast. Received everytfhing expected. The hotel is popular, in August it was full of guests. Very suitable for tourists and really budget. Thanks.

Hotel was fine for a budget stay however, having the shower inside the room was really weird. It definitely uncomfortable. There was no ventilation in the toilet which was further uncomfortable.
