Portucale TripAdvisor review

We stayed in your hotel for one night during our trip to Dresden. Great location and a short walk into the city centre. Train station 5-minute walk away was very convenient. The room we stayed in was in the next building from where we booked in at reception. During our stay we were tailgated by two individuals. We confronted one who we do no believe was a guest at the hotel. This may raise concern for safety? Although the room was well enough appointed it was very dated and in need of a refurb. The furniture was very shabby and the room very depressing. Unfortunately, we would not return to your hotel if we were ever to return to Dresden.

This is a good hotel, not far from the Hauptbahnhof and trams and on the pedestrianised streets leading to the Altstadt. Comfortable standard Ibis rooms. Friendly reception and housekeeping staff. Bar staff less so, finding it unreasonable to be asked for glasses of ice. This is a standard service offered in every other Accor hotel we've stayed in, including this one on previous visits.

MrOrganist Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

This is a large hotel, effectively two hotels with one reception. I might have given a higher score if I had not had to queue for 20 minutes to check in, if I had been allocated the double room that I booked, rather than two single beds, and if there had not been a previous guest's interdental toothbrush on the carpet by my bed for the whole stay. Nearly everything else was fine. Wanting a shower head above chin height might just be me being picky.

al1gak Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

I highly recommend this hotel. Always great rooms, breakfast, staff and customer service. On my recent trip I accidentally left behind my own towel. I messaged them and asked if they could save it for me until I returned for my stay four weeks later. They did! When I checked in, the front desk person gave it to me.
