Property Review: Ibis Styles Dresden Neustadt Location & Accessibility: The hotel's physical location is poor and highly inconvenient for travelers looking to easily experience Dresden's core historic and cultural sights. Facilities & Infrastructure: The property suffers from aging infrastructure and outdated facilities. The rooms and public areas are showing significant wear and tear, and the building requires a modern refresh to meet competitive hospitality standards. Food & Beverage (Positive Standout): The breakfast offering was excellent and easily the highlight of the stay. The selection, quality, and presentation of the breakfast buffet were outstanding and executed to a very high standard. Final Takeaway While the food and beverage team is doing a wonderful job with the breakfast service, the hotel's outdated facilities and compromised location make it difficult to recommend until a major property renovation is undertaken.

There is no air conditioning in the hotel, no ice machine available, and no refrigerator in the rooms. The overall condition of the hotel is extremely poor. The decor is in a disastrous state, with peeling paint throughout the rooms, visible stains, and missing parts on the balcony doors. The property appears to be only days away from requiring a complete closure and full renovation. The elevator is also concerning and does not feel safe to use. If this is the standard being offered, I will not be staying with the group for an extended period.

Hotel is completely run down, very difficult to find (miniature sign, not a standard ibis Styles banner), both rooms and common areas show wear & tear, no status recognition and - on top of everything - tap water not suitable for drinking! If you want drinking water, you need to buy it!

Cozy hotel - reasonably priced with very friendly staff and great breakfast. Could however do with a further refurbishment og e.g. doors, locks and the corridors.

During my stay in this hotel in Neustadt, I experienced several serious issues. Despite having Platinum status, I was assigned a room of extremely poor standard, which felt more like a storage or backroom than a proper guest room. The corridor was partially blocked with storage boxes, making access uncomfortable and inappropriate for a hotel environment. The bathroom ventilation was not working, which was confirmed by the reception staff. However, no action was taken, and no alternative room was offered. The most disappointing part was the check-out experience. The receptionist behaved in a very unprofessional and dismissive manner. Instead of addressing the issues or showing any understanding, I was met with a lack of respect and zero willingness to help. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations, especially considering my loyalty status. I expected a higher standard of service and at least an attempt to resolve the situation.
