Worse checkin ever at Accor hotels, not reflecting Priority checkin, I have Gold level!!! Wrong romm type - despite explicit booking of 2 seperate beds... Only positive breakfast...

First, the good things. Clean room and particularly clean bathroom with a very good shower. Decent breakfast, although not the best. Very helpful staff. However, there was a lot wrong with the room. The lighting was dreadful and the room was gloomy. The bedside lights were over the bedside shelf and not designed to enable you to read in bed. There was one reading lamp, on the desk. We booked a large double room but there was only one large chair and one small one at the desk. A small coffee table was useless with no chairs. A tiny, tiny wardrobe and literally no drawers or shelves for the rest of your clothes - so the chairs were not much use for sitting as they were draped with our clothes. The kettle didn't work very well and was in a cubby hole where you couldn't see to pour the water. There was no full length mirror and the mirror in the bathroom was so badly placed that your face was in complete darkness. There was nowhere to check that you looked half decent before you went outside. The room is meant to look as though a lot of attention has been paid to style but it is all for appearances and doesn't work well for the guests. Why would you paint the walls of the corridors black? It makes no sense. And please clean off the grafitti on the walls and put up a nice, large sign showing the hotel name.

I requested a fridge for my insulin, fridge was put in my room but doesn’t work and neither my friends in the opposite room. You will find 3-4 steps to enter hotel with luggage! Carpet all stained, door knobs missing, 3 doors and 3 steps to get to rooms, again with luggage. No a/c even though there is an ancient a/c on the wall.
