Very near by to metro station and cooperative staff and cleaninecle is good, local food breakfast not suitable for vegetarians . Rate is reasonable if you book hotel in advance. We enjoyed staying and will prefer to stay next time

The hotel is ok, but the staff barely speaks english, so they can't help you and is almost impossible to ask for something that is more than basic. Also, the taxi drivers from outside the hotel are very abusive in terms of price. It is better to take a taxi from the street, they are safe and the charge you by taximeter. You definitely need directions written in chinese characters. If you are not fan of chinese food or if you are vegan the breakfast can be a pain, they only serve chinese style breakfast and very limited options for other tastes.

everthing is bad no cleaning in room very bad staff The room is super super small, not as the photos they put in internet. The staffs are not friendly, the wifi connection at room were terible. The hotel is located very close to Dong Ming subway station, as it is just 3-4 minute walk from Exit 2. One incovenient thing about the hotel is that so many people smoked in the lobby, in the hotel floor, even it is non smoking floor. The hotel provided only chinese television channels and very minimum bathroom facilities.

The room was completely dirty, looked like the housekeeping only came in to do the beds, the toilet had papers on the trash can. There was still the used soap on the shower and was filled with hairs. There were also hairs on the bed. Lobby personnel were fighting with each other while making my check in.

Totally third-class hotel and service is very poor, A/C only active 5.00 PM to 8.0 AM morning. I have never seen that system all over the world any of hotel. IBS I never staying that hotel.

This hotel is near to metro station and I stayed for the second time. I suggest a plate and a spoon with a bottle of water in the room will help Indian guests. Wherever I travel on business or with family, I like Ibis as first choice.

Clean room and great breakfast serving. Disappointment includes lack of bath towels, even after repeated request! and poor payment system. I pre-booked my room and paid with credit card on Ibis website, but upon arrival and check in, I was asked to pay again! I paid with the same credit card again and still in the process verifying if a double payment had been made. I stayed from 12th -15th April 2015.

Some of the front desk staff were courteous and patient, while some were rather blunt and appeared impolite. During check-in, I had a misunderstanding on the payment and asked for clarifications, and the check-in staff kept calm and explained to me the situation politely. However, the first room I got had a significant water leakage problem in the washroom sink. When I went to the front desk to report the problem and request for a change of room, the staff (who seemed like a senior one as she is working inside the office) only cared about if I had slept on the bed or used any other things in the room, which made me feel like I was bringing her trouble to ask for a change of room. And in the first night (3rd Apr) I got a call from the office that they needed my passport for a copy again as the scan failed in the initial check in. The male staff on the phone was very polite and I didn't really mind going down again. However, the lady on duty at the front desk was pulling a long face when I handed her my passport as if I was another trouble-maker. Unfortunately when I was going back up to my room after the scan, my key card was not working on the elevator sensor, making me have to ask the lady for assistance again. She kept her blank face while checking and replacing the key card for me. The room itself was spacious enough for a short stay, but the in-room facilities were not functioning and maintained well, e.g. water leakage under the sink, "warm" air-con, electrical water boiler that didn't stop automatically... For the price I paid I wouldn't complaint, but it would just be nice to see improvement.

It was very unsatisfactory. I had to ask for a new room with a proper functioning window and the second room, while better than the first, was overall uncomfortable.

The overall experience was very bad. The reception was not helpful at all. The buffet breakfast had cold coffee and hot juice which should be the other way around. Wifi was not available in rooms. The neighborhood was not good as well.

Hotel service is very poor. I booked two bed for a room during 20/10 to 24/10. However, the front officer insist i have booked single room for my booking. I didn't print and can't give the evidence imm. And i back room and checked the record. I am sure that i have booked the two bed room. I said to the front officer, they just said their computer show i has booked single room. I m so angry and disappointed. No one can help!!!! i won't stay tat hotel again!! Never!

It was sad to see the poor breakfast.. the receptionist couldn´t speak in english.. poor bedrooms as well.. The air conditioner didn´t work.. I have been staying in Ibis Hotels in Brazil and all have been fine.. that is why I have chosen the Ibis Shanghai.. now, I will never chose that hotel again.. I am very sorry.

1. we booked this hotel because it's close to Shanghai exhibition hall, however, it's so hard to get a taxi there. 2. The hotel is next to a club which is noisy till midnight. 3. There were strangers coming out from outside and insert a lot of sex deal service name cards into our room, every night we got scared by the sound which someone tried to open the door and insert the name cards into our door! this is most unacceptable!

Overall the staff were helpfull, but it was very difficult to communicate with them them due to non english speaking staff .. I would recommend to have English Speaking Receptionist as this is the international chain hotel. The breakfast area is too small and need more variety of food I also did not get any special assistance being the advantage plus member, as they treat everyone the same standard. I would like to suggest wifi in every room as this is the business hotel
