we stayed here at short notice,as the hotel we had booked with HOTELS.COM,was disgusting.the ibis was roomy,clean,quiet.beds were excellent snd had great sleeps in it.the staff were friendly and very attentive.i wouldnt hesitate to reccomend it

The room here was very average. As common in China, the room smells of cigarette smoke. I woke to no running water, and using a translate app (its China, of course they dont speak English, have some patience), the reception told me to wait an hour. When the water was back on it was brown and filthy. The hotel has a metro station outside, about an hour to the Bund, and not much else around it. I'd only stay here again if everywhere else was fully booked or burnt down.

Don’t come to this hotel if you don’t speak Chinese. Was laughed at upon arrival by the most difficult check in ever. Then I get to my room which is sufficient but everything is in Chinese. The what to do in an emergency and call the police advice is in Chinese. As if the locals wouldn’t know how to do this. I called the reception to ask what time checkout was to be told I don’t know and hung up on 2 mins later a security guard bangs on my door to give me water. Thanks but not exactly what I was looking for. Positives excellent location for Disney and the metro is next door and a wonderful fruit shop just beyond. Green tea and bottled water every day with toothbrush to the paste sealed and soap and combs also there. Sufficient but totally frustrating. The staff in the fruit shop were much more helpful than these supposed hoteliers - not good for an international chain like Ibis

Very near by to metro station and cooperative staff and cleaninecle is good, local food breakfast not suitable for vegetarians . Rate is reasonable if you book hotel in advance. We enjoyed staying and will prefer to stay next time

first No one in the hotel who can speak English and attitude is super bad as if you want something you need to find a way to talk to them , not ready to help for even small things, and somehow IBIS is a world wide chain.. I stayed in IBIS Paris and London but it was much better .. 1. They forgot to book room for us which was booked by my company few days back. they gave us a room which they have asked to share, and that was only after 3 hrs at 11 PM. 2. Toilet door can not be closed. 3. flush wasn't working so they gave us a small pot to flush manually. 4. Next day got room but toilet and AC wasn't working so they gave us a Fan. 5. No one was interested even if you are having any problem.. you need to find a way to either speak Chinese , use some app to convert. 6. It took 10 min to ask for a bill of my coffee .. she was thinking that I am asking about remaining amount and there was nothing remaining , then I showed another bill to ask , then she started reading my bill .. funny 7. they were doing some construction on the same floor and it smells like they are burning plastics.
